The moro arc was surely long (starting at October of 2018 and ending at December 2020); despite all of this time this arc was short on the delivery department and felt like something a fan who is not that creative would come up with (it was basically an amalgam of King Piccolo and the Androids/Cell Sagas with a cameo to Frieza's first transformation). It's ironic that moro is not only a moloch (bad idea of religion that needs life sacrifices of people and children, on itself) spoof, but also a DB characters one.
I do believe that the following additions would have made the arc a better one:
1. Honestly, if I was able to keep Cranberry around and have him fight Chiaotzu instead of teaming him with Tien against the Metalman, I would. Cranberry can be recognized by SSJ Vegeta while he steps on his spaceship's window, as one of the weaklings Raditz was friends with, and whom Nappa bullied (I do believe that the Ginyu Force used to bully the leftover Saiyans).
2. moro CAN NOT sense the Dragon Balls, that's what bought Vegeta and Goku time to fight him again. he just flew at the direction of the gatherings of the Namekians' ki.
3. Also, I did not forget Soba and the Yakis, the animals he uses, from Goku's training on Yardrat on "Dragon Ball Z: Sagas"; but they're off the table for Toriyama, I guess.. I would use them for Vegeta's training and will explain that the Dragon Ball Online Yardrats are mutants that were created because a meteor hit Yardrat 3,000 years ago and caused any Yardrat who touched it to mutate.
There can be a scene of the damage the Ginyu Force caused on Yardrat before they were called to Namek.
4. Chapter after the given Chapter 54: "moro's past" (as he was clearly lacking [a proper] one)
Spoiler:
Saganbo's ship is floating in the sky of a planet where a race of amphibians are getting slaughtered. In Saganbo's spaceship, moro sits in the command room with Saganbo on his side waiting nervously for his words. moro closes his eyes and suddenly snaps his fingers, the chair becomes a "Game of Thrones"-like throne (disclosure: NEVER watched it). The Prisoners are excited believing moro will prize them with money and goods (back in Chapter 51 he said so), not knowing that moro had lied to them and that he'll eat them too once he finds them no longer practical.
moro opens his eyes and asks Saganbo how old is he, to which he replies "Middle-Age on my world's terms, but 217 according to the Galactic Prison records, why?", moro then tell him that he's a toddler, as he is almost 70 million years old. moro asks Saganbo who is this "Frieza" who Cranberry had worked for and if he knows where to find him, Saganbo claims that he is "dead for awhile" (implying his capture was before Resurrection 'F') but that Yuzun worked under his father, King Cold, and had to fake his death to ditch the army once Frieza rose to power. Saganbo was a rogue in his own galaxy, he met Yuzun and they moved out to start a gang that joined Zauyogi, an ex tech wiz who worked as a Cyber Security Analyst in his homeworld who became an arts thief, then Bikkura Quoitur who was exiled from his homeworld for his violent nature, then the restaurants' number one enemy: Yunba ("giimme all yo food or I will kill yo ass!"), and the later additions of Shimorekka (a cars' thief) and the girls trio (fashion lifters) who escaped an encounter with the Galactic Patrol and joined Shimorekka as his aids. moro asks him about OG-73i, and Saganbo explains that they stole it with the skin of their teeth from a civilization of powerful machinery.
moro then explains that he wishes to share his life story with Saganbo (9 pages of flashbacks): he was born in the realm that lies between Universe 7 and Universe 6, where his father left his mother to raise him when he was a baby, he was shortly after given to the local monastery at the capital of his race, who groomed him into being a monk in the local temple where the Kaioshins were worshiped and were treated with a feast once every thousand years. The Priest at the temple saw that moro was a bully and expelled him from the temple; he then broke into the temple and robbed a dark magic book that he used to learn how to prey upon weaker beings, he began with sucking the lifeforce of animals and quickly moved to his race peers. Afterwards, the Temple had managed to banish him off-world to a planet deep within the Demon Realm, which they thought was hostile enough to serve as his jail till his death; but he had survived in critical condition and through 60 million years had managed to grow into the strongest lifeform on that galaxy and to join forces with the local flymen and humanoid snake-creatures and lead them with their portal summoning technology to the normal realm as his private army to commit genocide at his own homeworld and against 7 galaxies through the next centuries, his army grew until the Kaioshins had to step in and lead to his already seen defeat.
Meanwhile, Merus and Goku train and the Angel in disguise estimates to himself that Goku has only "13.64%" (he talks precisely) of achieving Ultra Instinct, and that if they won't manage to gain it in the two months time frame left on the outside, Merus will have to do "something he never thought he would have to". Vegeta is still in training
5. The next chapter: "Earth's Defenders Prepare!"
Spoiler:
Gohan lands at Kami's Lookout, where all the Z-Fighters (Androids 17 and 18 included) had gathered with Shin and Kibito. Kibito takes the Earthlings to the Grand Kai's Planet where Olibu (in this canonized version Roshi is a fan of his achievements as he learned about him in his youth, the others look up to him, too) takes them to train in the Cave of the Ancients (the same one from "Legacy of Goku III: Buu's Fury"). Shin takes Piccolo and Gohan to train on his realm, where Piccolo begins to undergo the Old Kai treatment with the Ultimate Potential Unlock - to explain his growth later on.
On Yardrat, Vegeta is still under pressure on his way to obtain Spirit Control, and Irico decides to use the time to study how to use ki (like Videl did in her early DBZ days) under Hatska. moro gulps up another planet and enters Saganbo's spaceship, overhearing a prisoner who says to his peer that he's getting bored of all the violence, moro does a Darth Vader move and chokes him from a distance till he is dying, then eating him up too, and warning his "soldiers" not to speak any nonsense if they value their lives.
Goku and Merus keep on training and Goku is now at a "37% chance of mastering Ultra Instinct" in the given time, with only being at the verge of mastering Ultra Instinct Sign (half the process). 58 days later: Roshi, the weakest of the Humans, is shown to be able to easily defeat (without using his Maximum Buff Form) 100% Final Form Frieza on Namek in the Cave of Ancient, meaning each Human is a few times over that power level, and the session is said to have been over by Olibu. Kibito is shown there in the exit of the cave willing to take the crew back home for the confrontation with moro and his goons.
6. Goku returns to Earth with Jiya's guidance from afar. As he doesn't know how to fly Merus' spaceship, he manages to call the Galactic Patrol HQ where only Jiya is there to protect the Galactic King, and he tells him what to do. At this time, Cranberry leads a gang of the Salza-looking prisoner, the monkey prisoner and the dog prisoner from the end of Chapter 50 and tries his best to rob King Fury's palace, but is stopped and face off Chiaotzu for a death match after he knocked the three mooks out. Tien fights 2 mooks before facing the Metal Man he defeats with insults. Yamcha starts to win against Zauyogi, but the lizard who was empowered by moro shows off his natural ability to shed his damaged skin and to repay his opponent like Gyasa did on "Shinzo". Once Tien and Chiaotzu defeat their opponents, they fly to help Yamcha.
7. Chapter afterwards: "Earth's Last Stand! Where's Goku??"
Spoiler:
Instead of Goku hogging all the victories, let the Z-Fighters have the best out of Zauyogi and Saganbo - Zauyogi explains to Tien that his kind becomes stronger at hot places, and the fact they're in a desert with the soaring sun only promise his victory. He orders his 3 goons who stand besides the battle to tell Saganbo "they're on their way back".
Then Chiaotzu holds Zauyogi's feet in place with his telekinetic powers as he did on DBS to Goku and Monaka, while Yamcha shoots a Kamehameha at his belly and Tien shoots a Shin Kikoho at him at the same time and cause his body to be vaporized as Cell once was, and then reveal that the can also regenerate like a lizard.
Zauyogi calls for his men for help to buy him some time to regenerate, but the 3 Humans take them out with ease despite their injuries, and then Zauyogi steps in and reveals his power level had doubled due to his regeneration. Yamcha is preparing for the worst as the lizard rushes to punch him with Goku then showing up and defeat him when all hope seems lost (Tien and Chiaotzu are holding their breaths).
Gohan can take out the empowered Saganbo, who had been proven too much for Piccolo, and kill him without any mercy, only for him to be defeated with ease by moro who steps down to the battlefield, and to be dispatched from his hand by Goku who's using Ultra Instinct Sign for his entrance.
8. Turns out the greedy goat was collecting goods via lying to his henchmen because he opted to bribe the councilmen of the Demon Realm to be appointed king.
9. Have moro steal the ki he gave all his defeated convicts who are still in the Milky Way and use it to push his ki further up while fighting UI Sign Goku before Vegeta shows up.
10. Vegeta manages to defeat moro who in return flies up to his ship, tells Shimorekka to wait for him in the cockpit and extract the ki he gave 7-3 to copy before landing on Earth. Now moro is back at his youth and prime permenently. As he has no use of 7-3 at the moment, he tosses him down the chimney to Shimorekka.
11. End of Moro
Spoiler:
the goat is too strong for Vegeta who is defeated but is saved by Thin Buu who regained his consciousness. Majin Buu acting under the intellectual ability of the Grand Supreme Kai lets Vegeta be at the Androids' guard for safety and fights moro till he's sliced in half.
moro is not losing hope, and Buu is stressed out but Piccolo tells him he knows a way to defeat moro. Buu uses his absorption to fuse with Piccolo so he could use the Mafuba on moro. He turns a bunch of rocks into a bottle and a seal, and launch it on moro. When all seems over, Jaco goes to catch moro but the bottle breaks. moro uses his dark magic to turn into a dark cloud, losing his physical shape, and a dense black fog surrounds the battlefield. The ones within are chocking but it's all gone in a jiffy.
moro takes advantage of the fact there are cracks on the battlefield and inserts himself into the ground, becoming one with the Earth. Merus tells Goku it's the end of Earth, Goku tells him that he sorry all their hard work was for nothing, as moro begins to suck the lifeforce of every being on Earth, Goku closes his eyes and opens them dramatically, he's now able of using Ultra Instinct to i's fullest as was against Jiren, and starts to pummel moro.
moro catches Goku with his Earthy made hands and chockes him until he's almost losing his UI. Merus is about to jump in but Beerus and Whis stop him. Krillin arrives to the battlefield with some senzu beans, he throws a Kienzan at moro's hands and slice one of them, but before he can do anything moro is sending a gazer of hot lava under his feet and he's saved by Android 18 who pushes him with a kiai she launches from her hands in the last second. moro is pleased to see they're still moving, which means he can still feast on them.
Krillin flies with 18 and 17 to Gohan's whereabouts and give him a Senzu bean, Gohan who was dying sees that moro is now the planet itself, and thinks that they may have to use the Dragon Balls to seperate him if they want a chance of winning this thing. Yamcha, carrying Roshi on his back, arrives with Tien and Chiaotzu to help fight moro, but Gohan tells them none of them is able to do anything as moro is now the planet they sit on, they can't kill Earth. Krillin is worried sick and panics, Vegeta is unconcious, Krillin gives him a Senzu. Vegeta tries to save Goku, he tells everyone to give him their energies so he will send it to empower Goku. Once Majin Buu sees that a Mafuba won't work again, he splits from Piccolo (who flies to be with Gohan and co.), So the Super Namekian will join the donation process. moro picks the injured UI Goku from the ground and begins to pummel him again at the ground.
Vegeta adds all of his power to the delivery to send the huge sphere of ki directly into Goku's dying body. Vegeta collapses and while Goku is capable of maintaining UI for a few more minutes he starts to grow weary and rusty and shortly soon is tortured by moro again.
Dai Kaioshin IQed Buu heals Vegeta and the two of them attack moro's core, making it crack. moro lets go of Goku and tries to stop them, but it's too late, as Vegeta seperates moro from the Earth with his Forced Spirit Fission and Goku is given a Senzu bean by Krillin, moro returns to his sliced physical self and tries to escape towards Saganbo's ship, but MSSB Goku (he can't push UI because he's too stressed), SSBE Vegeta and Buu (now changed into the Grand Kaioshin) shoot their God Ki blasts at him to secure his death. Shimorekka sees that moro explodes and hits the speed off the Earth.
The gang goes for a feast at Satan's to celebrate the victory of good over evil. END.
12. The Granolah Arc begins with Goichi's scouts find the dying Shimorekka with 7-3 flying near one of their bases and from there the story evolves...
