Your redrawn Goku for chapter zero page 1 is absolutely fantastic, the shading is pristine, and the body pose itself is intresting. The Black Goku cameo was a lot of fun, incredibly tongue in cheek. Of course I wont lie, I never really had any enjoyment from the shadow versions of Goku, their pure black eyed design was never a visual element I was a fan of. Anyway, it's nice to see you're back. Keep up the great work. :D

The pose is an hommage to a certain picture of Dragon Ball vol. 42 very close to the end.

1st and 2nd panel in last page were borrowed from Vegeta vs Cell, if I'm not mistaken? (Part right after Perfect Cell kicked Vegeta)

No.
Became "Frost".
Yes, but not under that name anymore.
Most DEFINITELY yes, with added characters.
Again, no longer using that name for the character. "Frost" is now a codename for the arc right now.

For the panel where Vegeta fires his blast at Black Goku after just getting hit onto the rock. Positioning the panel behind the back of Vegeta, and angling so he's in a position of power would have given it more ommph, and a greater feel of grandiose. Black Goku getting hit by Vegeta's blast is an absolute visual treat to behold. Great work with the shading! :D

I think that's intentional, to emphasize visually the futility and desperation of Vegeta's efforts (screaming "damn you!" while sweating, bleeding and wincing). This isn't a fake-out moment like against Perfect Cell; the expression on Vegeta's face in the seventh panel says he kind of expected it to fail on some level, and the 9th panel with the exclamation points (note: not question marks) screams exhausted frustration and anger more than a "WTF?" moment. At least that's how I read it - I could be reading too much into what Malik intended, of course! :)

Interesting, I don't think I've seen a DB fighter win by choosing not to fight.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

How the Black Arc Should End (by Lightbing!):

Well he hasn't WON yet, but that was the general idea behind this new version.
