Who's Your Favorite English Narrator?
Unlike the Japanese version, where Joji Yanami is the universal narrator of the Dragon Ball universe, we have so many to choose from between all 4 series (Super hasn't been dubbed yet) for English, not to mention the number of English dubs.
My favorite would have to be Dale D. Kelly from the original FUNimation dub of Dragon Ball Z. His delivery was top notch. He could go from deadly serious, to hilariously goofy in a matter of seconds, and I always find myself lost in his narrations.
A runner up would have to be Brice Armstrong from FUNimation's dub of Dragon Ball. His soft and sweet voice was perfect for the series and was a great English counterpart to Joji Yanami.
Who's your favorite English narrator and why? I'd love to know.

Was the hate for Kai largely unjustified?
Super Saiyan Prime wrote:It's an edited, cynically produced, cheap recut with a poorly utilized ancient score and awful scene recreations that later got traded in for a weird green tint.
The story of Kai's production is far more interesting than the actual product.

Doc Morgan.

Doc Morgan because he sounds the most like a wise old grandfather telling you a fairy tale, followed up by Brice Armstrong, who is good as well, but didn't sound quite mystical enough to my recollection.

Brice Armstrong. His voice seemed like the perfect combination of someone who's wise, energetic, and distinguished.

Kyle Herbert. He sounds really energetic, like some goofy guy who's just really excited about telling the story. He has just enough oomph in his voice without going full over the top, and his delivery has a nice mix of cheesy and serious.
Re: Who's Your Favorite English Narrator?
Doc Morgan beats all the other English narrators (slightly Armstrong) in my opinion. He has a voice that seems kind and a guide to lead you through the story. Besides him, Joji Yanami, and Brice Armstrong, I don't get that warm feeling from the other narrators.

Brice Armstrong then Doc Morgan.
Kelly's too over the top and Hebert doesn't have a narrator's voice. He tries way too hard.

The monster truck guy because he sounds so absurd.
