I wouldn't call myself a dub fan, per se, but I'll be at the Auckland (New Zealand) one. He's been there before actually. He's often a guest judge for the Kamehameha Contests.

This elicited a chuckle:
Armageddon Expo wrote:Sean Schemmel gets paid to stand in a sound proof padded room and make wacky voices all day with good reason. He’s good at it. Ever since he was discovered doing so at an undisclosed mental institution, Sean has been gainfully employed as a voice actor for some of the top Anime titles in history.

*Reads the Expo page on Mr. Schemmel*.

Does everyone live in New Jersey?!

I honestly thought he lived in New York; I'm amused at this. XD

Expected a photo of him on the page; they used a portrait of Goku instead.

Whoever wrote this bio of him had fun doing it. XD

I like a lot of his recent work (and his later Goku--he was awesome in Movie 12).

I don't watch the dub much anymore, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that he was one of the VA's I enjoyed listening to. :3

(I wonder if he knows anything regarding Funi and the rights to the new animated special; I'd really like the purchase that on DVD if they were to release it....)

That said, I hope you have a great time at the expo!

On a somewhat related note, look who else will be there...

Yay! I hope there is new news on it. I want to see how the dub turns out (and see which VA they pick to voice Tabaru.)

Erm, judging by the laughter and applauses I think that it's not that serious.
Who would take doing the Kamehameha serious, by the way?
No more time for Daizex. Goodbye folks!

Whoever goes to this thing and talks to people related to Dragonball, I have a request:

Ask about Dragonball Kai.

Believe it!
Cool the female VA that voices a male character that actually sounds male. :D
The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.
