Its because of the filler, last episode(219) was good for a filler episode.

Plus I was comparing DBGT to the Original Naruto, where even their filler episodes didnt make the supporting/secondary characters look worthless/weak unlike DBGT.

Naruto itself for me is quite flat out in manga so I can't stand the Shippuden anime.
Really Dragon Ball filler was more fun than those 20 or how many episodes about catching that tailed beast with hell of a load of flashbacks and reused scenes.
Sometimes the alternation of ending scene from previous episode on the begining of episode lasted almost a half of the episode......
Talk about lazier writing then in TOEI.
But I like this series a lot, way more then One Piece.

I agree that the flashbacks are annoying compared when DB flashbacks.

Plus another thing I realized is that the DB characters has been reincarnated in Naruto besides Goku/Vegeta(Naruto/Sasuke).

TenTen = Pan
Pain = Cell
Rock Lee = Yamcha
Third Hokage = Kami
Gaara = Piccolo
Temari = Android 18
Konohamaru = Kid Gohan pre Cell saga.

I agree with all of those except for these five. How are Cell and Pain alike? Also, Jugo and 16 aren't alike at all. Juugo is a serial murderer, and the only person 16 has ever had the desire to kill is Goku.

Juugo talked to birds(Like #16), and he said that he does not want to kill, but his ability causes him to have no control over his killing intent.

Gaara is like Piccolo the way they changed, both wanted to kill everyone on Earth and the way they were defeated(when them and their opponent ended up with no strength/energy at all)

And I was comparing Original Naruto's Konohomaru to kid Gohan, well he and his friends were more like Goten and Trunks.

As for Pain and Cell, well remember when Konoha fights Pain and Jiraiya dies... it looked similar when the Z figthers fought Cell in the Cell games....

When me and my sister were watching the first disc on Dragon Box 6 yesterday, my sister (who has taken a year of Japanese in college and passed with flying colors) pointed out that on Episode 210 and 211 that when the moms are boasting about their sons against each other, they actually do so in a polite way of speaking Japanese. If that is true, then I had never realized that and I think it's quite interesting.

The copies I bought years ago of the first two volumes of DB are from before Viz started censoring the artwork. Bulma's boobs and middle finger are completely intact!
