I saw the Toonzai airing today at 9:00am and everything was replaced except the opening.

Why is it that every track I liked in Kai seems to be a rip off? That was one of my favorite tracks and it happens to be a rip off and who knows how many more there is.

So are they going to re-edit the music in all of DBZ Kai and all of it's dubs and their releases, thus turning all currently-released dubs, Kai DVDs and fansubs into collector's items?

Yet another one found. Wow. Now I am suspecting that everything on the OST 3 is a plagiarism.

Probably the ones not composed by Yamamoto. I heard the Toonzai airing of episode 37 kept Freeza's insert song.

So no Saiyan Blood and News of The Cell Games? :( :( :( Though I do hope Toei doesn't know about Battle Point Unlimited so we might get that in Kai. :) :) :) Also one question does Kenji Yamamoto still work for Toei? Or did they fire him?

This reminds me.... years ago when the Buu saga was on American tv I remember some fans were complaining that Faulconer "ripped off" the above song from some popular rock song somewhere. (I forget which song) I never really cared much since it was kind of a cool song.

Yep, the "Marmalade" rip-off.

Song is still ludicrously epic.

As I said in the Kai section, the rerun on Fuji TV Two has the Kikuchi score. Now they are replacing the whole thing from the beginning.

Completely unsurprising.

The only thing I hate about all of this is now there's going to be more of the "Which score do you prefer?" and "Your preferred score is different than mine? You're lame!" garbage.

I think it's time to pop in a DBZ soundtrack CD and read some manga.

Also still a horrible stretch. I like System of a Down, but all they do is share a chord progression (actually, I think even that's slightly different.)

Does sound like it.

I remember Teen Titans once played a really cool instrumental song that sounded a lot like Closer years ago.

Like with Robo in Japan, this happens a lot in America too. It's common for music to be derivative.

The Indonesian dub of Kai is still using the Yamamoto score.

I didn't make the charge, that's just the most commonly referenced source.
