About to watch original DB (never seen before!)

I have the original Dragon Ball sets on their way. I've never seen the whole series through. Just small tidbits of very early episodes (Pilaf saga).

It feels like getting a brand new Dragon Ball series. So excited.

Yeah, try to be a little clearer about what you're talking about? Original R2s? Original singles from NA?
No reason to envy you if it's either of them really, the R2s are hardly a rare find, and the original singles... are terrible in comparison to the Dbox.

The 2009/10 remasters, the topic was more about me about to experience the original Dragon Ball as if I was getting a completely new series. Nothing to do with just buying Dragon Ball merchandise.

It was completely unclear as to what the point actually was. All you said was that people should envy you, you have the "original" sets on the way, and you hadn't seen it before. So what was most important? The merchandise itself? That you hadn't seen it before? What should people envy? The sense of wonder of never having seen it, or were you getting in the original JP Dragon Box for the series?

Please try to add more context and explanation to your posts.
