About 9 hours, I think.
I could never stay awake that long.

The longest for me was for FUNi's "season 2" set. I'm not sure how long exactly it was but I watched it all back to back with no breaks.

It was definitely a full days worth, but I'm not sure of the exact hours. It all becomes a blur after a while, you know?

Particularly if it's "sunny"?DHM211 wrote:I could stay awake for about 2 day strait.
I don't believe I've spent an obscene amount of time watching DBZ, maybe one or two discs when I either hadn't seen the episodes for quite a few years or, in the case with latter DBZ, I hadn't seen the FUNimation version.
But I think it's safe to say what I would consider a "marathon" is nowhere near the amount of time others have invested into it.

Day 3 is when the hallucinations start! Not fun times, especially if you're not preoccupied.jpdbzrulz4sure wrote:DHM211 wrote:I could stay awake for about 2 days straight.

I could stay up two days easily, but I'd never be insane enough to watch DBZ the whole time. The most I ever have is probably three or four hours in a row.

Don't have the patience for it anymore. But back then, I think I watched an entire, or a good share of an Orange brick for a couple hours a couple years ago.
Re: What's the longest time you've ever watched DBZ for?
I watched the entire series of Evangelion within a day, but have never watched any DB series that long. I remember reading through the entire manga at one time when I couldn't get up from the bed because of lower back strain, though.
Re: What's the longest time you've ever watched DBZ for?
Not for Z, but for DB it must have been something like 22 hours during the summer of last year. I had a few days to kill and I wanted to watch the series so badly through the second tournament. So engrossing that I could just let it sit with a couple episodes a day. Within 22 hours, of course, I went beyond just that one saga.
As for Z, I really don't recall, although it had to have been Kai sometime a few weeks ago - 15 hours. Not overkill, but enough to consume a day from morning to night.

Re: What's the longest time you've ever watched DBZ for?
Me and my BF once watched ten episodes of Dragon Ball straight (not Z). It was around the time I started to reintroduce to the series. He watched some parts of Z and GT but he never watched the first series. It was a lot of fun watching it together. We still watch DB on occasion when I'm not too busy.
Re: What's the longest time you've ever watched DBZ for?
I've never just sat there and watched Dragon Ball all day, but this is something I plan on doing.
Probably about 3 hours is the most amount of time I've sat and just watched non-stop.

Re: What's the longest time you've ever watched DBZ for?
I think, like Castor said a while back, I would marathon Dragon Boxes when I first got them. I probably watched an entire disc at time when I had the time. So I guess that'd be two hours, twenty minutes, give or take skipped openings and endings.
