Because what I mostly see from Broly fans is that he's cool. Anti-Broly people not only dislike him they take shots at those that do like him. Any groups that's anti-anything is pretty much guaranteed to be worse than fans.8000 Saiyan wrote:How so?ABED wrote:I think the anti-Broly people are more rabid.8000 Saiyan wrote:It has to be Broly, no doubt about it.

The biggest truths aren't original. The truth is ketchup. It's Jim Belushi. Its job isn't to blow our minds. It's to be within reach.

Brolly's rabid fans become some kind of Yeti of DB community, especially on this forum. While someone mentions from time to time that he is cool, there used to be a lots of threads bashing unseen "fanboys".

I dunno other sites opinion on Broly, but I've never really seen a lot of Broly fans here, mostly people just bashing him, and his fanboys. Not denying it, but it's really not true for here.

I'm a huge Broly fan and I have not seen any Broly fans around here... people just say he is cool/ok or that he is dumb or annoying.Soppa Saia People wrote:I dunno other sites opinion on Broly, but I've never really seen a lot of Broly fans here, mostly people just bashing him, and his fanboys. I would have said Broly, but that's not true anymore. I think Vegeta has to be the one now. After the whole Resurrection F "kill steal" and getting constantly owned in Super, I feel like I've seen many more Vegeta fans complain than any other type of fan.

Vegeta, and it's not close.

Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

I can't even be mad 'cuz that's pretty great.
Anyway, I guess I'd ask all the people that keep coming in to chime "defiantly Broli" (DON'T MAKE ME A MOVIE POSTER I KNOW WHAT I DID THERE), check out some of the counter-points we've listed over the course of several pages.

Haha, yeah, I made it on the spot after I saw your comment. I'm glad you're not upset at me poking fun at your typo. There are some issues (somehow GIMP cut out the edges of some of the text), but I had to rush it out in case you fixed your comment and ruined my joke.Soppa Saia People wrote:Did you make that ? I admit I haven't been around much at the start of Super, but I don't remember seeing that much fan rage regarding Gohan. I was far more likely to come across a joke directed at the character or a commentary about his fans.

I can't stand fanboys of these characters.
