Who owns the rights to Dragon Ball?

Just something I started thinking about. Who has the copyright over the series? it Toriyama himself? Bird Studio? Shueisha? Toei? All of them?

Also, what's the difference between Bird Studio and Shueisha?

Shueisha owns the rights. Shueisha is a publisher while Bird Studio is Toriyama's design studio.
