Your favorite DragonBall fanart

Post by Izlude » Wed Jul 21, 2004 1:34 pm

Anyone here have any favorite DragonBall series fanart? If ya do, share it with the rest of us (or at least me!). I love looking at fanart, if its one thing DragonBall has inspired, outside of thousands of crappy fanfics, is really good fanart! :P

This is one of my favorites - Mr.Satan is packin some heat

I've really never seen Dragonball fanart that's really impressed me. Well, until I saw that Mr.Satan pick of yours. My favorite now, by far.

The only art I can remember that I kind of liked was this series of individual characters, each looking like something out of a collectible Marvel or DC comics cards set. I think it was done by some artist named... war... war-something. Don't know if any of it's online, anymore, since I only recall seeing it on planet namek. That site also had a cool picture of Frieza kicking the hell out of Goku, which is always something good to see. Again, though, as far as I know, it's history.

I've also never really seen a doujinshi that's caught my eye with it's art, rather than its stupidity or randomness. I do wish they'd stop feminizing the male cast in 99% or those. They just look bizarre that way.

But my favoritest fanart? Mine. And no, none of it is online, yet.

My least favorite has got to be that drawing in the sketchbook section of the old Toonami website. It was a group shot of the DBZ cast done by some damn AMERICAN artist, and it was hideous. Don't know if they still have it lying around there, but DO NOT go looking for it. It will only provoke the creation of more of it's kind.

You mean This one? lmao I think its funny looking, pretty unique style. Sergio Aragones did it, his work is all over Mad Magazine, he's really good I think, talented artist. Trunks Face = Priceless

Haaah...I actually did one very bad picture that will probably burn your eyes, but here you go. Pan fans, please don't kill me!

Well, there's my stuff that I like. I REALLY like my Piccolo:

And I have to say that my Goku looks cool. I've been told his aura is 'damn cool':

Both DBGTN and Dragonball Arena have some really good Fanarts.

Hah, did you do that Piccolo in paint? That's some pretty tight skills if you did that in paint w/ a regular ol mouse!

Goku looks alright too, although his arms are a bit jacked, the aura is nice though. If you wanna learn how to make REAL TIGHT auras though, I suggest this aura tutorial, really kickass stuff here.

This chick Yamer has really nice artwork too, she's like mad pro

Hey, nice. Got to see some awesome fanart today. That Mr. Satan one got me to laugh.

I bet with my friend a few days ago that I could instantly find some gay fanart of Hisoka just by googling for his name. I was right, obviously. (like I'd bring it up if I found none)

I haven't seen too much DB fanart, but this is my favorite - here - it always makes me laugh for some reason. :D

I have lots of fan art that I love, but I'll share one of my favourites Here.

I like this one because of the attention to detail; the artist (Pandora's Box) has a really good grasp of human anatomy and drawing muscle, and yet he keeps the anime look of DBZ.

Oh man, that one of Pan is awesome. Now I must toot my own horn again becuase I've come up with somethin better than the Piccolo or Goku pics. An SSJ4 (my own design, not GT's) Gohan.

Yeah, I know the guys website, but I don't think you want it. He does lots of Dragonball fanart, but the majority (I'd say about 99%) is hentai, very disturbing hentai...>.>

It's not that there's anything wrong with my avy, it's what you can't see in the rest of the picture. And as for my Random board avy, it's not that bad...I mean, it's small enough that you can't see what's on her face...I think I said too much >.>

I dont exactly have any favourite fanarts. Probably cause I dont look for any in particular,I'm mostly looking for pictures from the actual show but Xyex does cool ones and Mochi had a funny Goku one about not doing drugs.

This one is pretty cool:
