@dragonxpiece: Omg...is the blue bottomed 3rd form Frieza the 'what if' Krillin though up in his head of what his next transformation would look like? Talk about detail!

I got no idea if that is the "what if" freeza haha. boxes are in japanese.

That's called the Imagination series and that would be series 7.
Bandai Dragonball Imagination series 7, you can find all the sets on ebay ranging from 15-30$ per set... I like to collect these too and I'm almost halfway to collecting all of them, there are 11 in total.

Here's a link: http://cgi.ebay.com/DRAGONBALL-Z-IMAGIN ... 439f2facc8
Don't buy that one though, I've seen sellers sell that set for like 18.00 in total including shipping, just type in "Dragonball imagination 7" in the search bar and you should be good.

The height varies for each set but I'd say on average the height can range from 3-6 inches. There's always a little diorama depicting some epic or memorable moment from Dragonball/Dragonball Z and even GT, the dioramas can be of a single character or a set of characters depending on the set.

Here are a couple I have:

Imagination 1:

Imagination 2:

Imagination 1 (GT):

I also have imagination 10 but I believe I was too lazy to post pics... lol
Also great update coming in my next post wee! :D

Those are pretty awesome looking dioramas. I wish they were bigger though. :?

Yeah they're small, but still a decent size in my opinion. When they start to accumulate they sure take up a hell of a lot of room, lol.

Yeah, I loved the imagination gashapon since they were so cheap and yet so detailed and fun to look at. Some of the scenes were real bastards to put together though. A few of them expect you to assemble a dozen near identical lightning bolts that are less than an inch long without instructions... :x

I have the complete collection aside from the elusive series 4 and the Tao variant in series 11. I also have the two SD Petit series that were released afterwards.

Oh man tell me about it, especially assembling the Ginyu Force under Freeza in Imagination 1. I gave up after the 4th attempt trying to put the little bastards together and stand them on the plastic base, ugh.
Series 4 oh boy series 4. I've searched high and low far and wide, found it a couple times and then been let down when the seller either decided to either: a) Go on a vacation for a month not tell me, and then sell it to someone else during that time or b) The listing was a complete fake on what seemed to be a legitimate site, totally pissed. I know where to get set 4 though but it'll cost me 75.00 and that's before shipping... so yeah... lol. I'm going to get the rest and then probably call it a day on that series. If I ever randomly get 100$ that I truly don't care about I'll get Imagination 4 to finish it.

On to my next news I got two things in the mail today: My lovely rare Special Edition Clear Banpresto HQDX SSJ Trunks, that cost me 10 hours of work at my crap job. And my wonderful Bandai HG set 22 with SSJ3 Goku, SSJ Future Gohan, 2 Saibamen, Nappa, and Vegeta/Goku (taking their stance before their very first battle).

Yeah, the trick with gashapon (or pretty much all JPNS toys for that matter) is to get them while they're new. Wait too long and you'll be kicking yourself after paying 10 times the retail price. I still wish I had bought the DBGT HG gashapon series 1 when I saw online for $12 bucks. Now I'm looking at upwards of $50 or so for them.
