Also, is that an official artwork for the Goku Jr. special? I don't remember him looking THAT dark during his brief appearance at the end. Additionally, that drawing is horrendous-- his head is too wide and the eyes are drawn improperly.

Yeah, his hair is also very short.

If you watch the series via Dragon Boxes, you will see that it is pretty much the same until GT, where the animators gave him a tan.

Goku's skin was much lighter in 10th anniversary special. That has same animation style as GT.

Well, if you go by Dragon Box colors, Goku's skin is pinkish throughout Z.

For starters, not to play mod or anything, but please don't bump old topics like this. This topic is over 6 years old. General rule of thumb is, if it's that old, just make a new topic rather than bumping an old one.

Officially, Saiya-jin skin color is yellow, as in what is typically considered "Asian" skin color. This is derived from the Human/Saiya-jin comparison chart in the Daizenshuu that lists the various differences in characteristics between the two races. While humans have varying skin colors (white, black, yellow, etc), Saiya-jin are just yellow.
