I didn't really have a problem with Gohan in BoG. I suppose Eighteen or Majin Buu would have been more interesting to see getting smacked around by Freeza.

I'd replace him with his own more impressive self from the end of the Majin Boo arc. Just imagine him being the one to actually land a blow or two on Beerus and outperform Vegeta and Gotenks, or manage to hold off Freeza in an uphill battle until Goku and Vegeta arrive.

If I had to replace him, #18 would be my vote, especially in Resurrection F, but like Kaboom said, I think him fighting Freeza in base for a bit would be rad.

I wish they made Frieza weaker in his first form though so it would of made more sense.
Piccolo should be close to Cell level so Frieza should of went to his 2nd form to beat him, then Gohan gets angry and goes ssj or ssj2 and Frieza goes to his 3rd form to beat him, then Goku arrives and fights final form Frieza like in the movie.
