SSj4 Gogeta
Because Goku and Vegeta fuse into SSj4 Gogeta in their SSj4 states, does that effect Gogeta's power in some way or is to equivalent to Gogeta turning SSj4? What do you guys think?
Re: SSj4 Gogeta
It would go either way if they fused in SS4 or in base. So far, nothing deviates from how it worked in Boo Arc, when Gotenks and Vegetto showed they could transform after the fusion.
Re: SSj4 Gogeta
IMO the order of the factors does not change the product. SS4 was necessary only because Goku was a child in his base form, but if he was an adult they could fuse in base form and then turn SS4.

I don't remember what was said about the dance fusion when it was introduced, I know the potara are not suppose to be used as SS but in base to not shorten the life of the fusion. The dance fusion I believe just needed the characters to be somewhat of the same height and the same power level, so it might be better to make best use of the time and do it as SS4, no need to transform or power up later.

Using Goten and Trunks as comparison, i'd say there would have been no difference, except possibly less Ki cost and less shortened fusion time.
But Goku was stuck in kid form, so it would have made the fusion impossible. Also possibly needing Bluetz Waves to transform?
