- Caulifla tells his subordinates to give Cabba a juice.
-Calling Goku O-San.
-Acting playful toward Saonel and Pirina.
The U6 Saiyans should be at most in their late teens.

They're a great pair when they play off eachother, I wish the writers for the show had done more of that, but we have yet to see how they'll play out in the manga. Caulifla is a true battle-crazy Saiyan who should have gotten more interactions with Vegeta honestly because if he thought Cabba was an embarrassment to the Saiyan race then maybe he would have had a better reaction to Caulifla and her eagerness to fight and get stronger. Either way, what we got was fine and lines like "yeah I'm scared too...of my own limitless potential!" were memorable.
Kale is sort of a moe character which is a type of character we've not gotten in DB very much if at all, but of course that's only one side to her since she has a Broly-style transformation, at first I, like a lot of people, thought I was going to hate her for being exactly like Broly but she's only like that when she's transformed and yes it is jarring and the worst part of either of them as characters but she eventually learns to control it and then she's basically fine. I enjoy how she's both nervous around but also very respectful of Caulifla, and as others have suggested it did feel like there was some romantic undertones to the pair, which I was hoping to see a definitive answer on before they get eliminated but sadly that hasn't happened, which I find disappointing.
People had a lot of complaints about how strong they were able to get, but there had to be some way for them to fight against Goku otherwise that's just boring and either way in the end they weren't able to attain SS3 through fusion so there's plenty of ceilings left for them to break...assuming they'll eventually come back...

Can't stand either of them, which hurts me to say as I was extremely hyped for the introduction of female super saiyans into DB canon. Unfortunately, I feel like the writers were told "ight, wring us out some female SSJ's pronto gents", and what followed was a rushed mess of bland personality traits and sudden power spikes, which isn't too upsetting for me seeing as how powerscaling in Super is already a mess, but I would've appreciated some actual character development for the two rather than the pittance we got(seriously, why is everyone acting the girls have experienced some monumental personality shifts this arc).
I didn't think I'd want any character to fuck off from a story more than Nick Fury in Age of Ultron but whoo boy, Trunks definitely earns that coveted position.

I personally hate both, though it's difficult for me to decide which one I dislike less.
I would much rather have had Broli present instead of Kale, simply with the explanation (or, more accurately, implication) that Broli is native to Universe Six and that Super and the films are not part of the same continuity. This would have made for a Legendary Super Saiyajin (or whatever you'd like to call Kale's unique form) out of a sudden explosion of rage from a quiet, passive Saiyajin rather than a whiny, annoying one; that would have been much more effective from a narrative standpoint, in my opinion. What was wrong with just using Broli instead of making a female Broli with an insufferable personality?
With regard to the loud, aggravating Caulifla, other than replacing her with the level-headed and cautious Renso, I don't know if much could have been done about her.
"Reign supreme? In your dreams; you'll never make me bow.
Kick my ass? I'm world-class and Super Saiyan now."

I don't see why people complain about their personalities, how are they supposed to behave? One is a battle-hungry Saiyan girl with a lot of ego, the other is a more shy and withdrawn character.
I find it bizarre what people want then? The only other alternative is a personality similar to Pan, but people complained about her in GT too. I get the feeling some of you don't know what you want.

I like them, I think they are great additions to the series. I just hope that this isn't the only time we see them. Hell I would love it if they made a spin off of just them.

It's pretty obvious that she was being playful. She was trying to lighten the mood in her own way.

Now that the TOP is almost over, they're literally the only two new breakout characters of this arc, besides Jiren who isn't interesting but is the main final fight.
None of the other "new" characters got any major focus. The Trio de dangers got the honor of being the first new fights in the exhibition matches but not much else. None of the new U6 members did much even the Nameks. Ribrianne was a glorified gag character, and she was entertaining at times but that's all she was.
So yeah, in a cast of 70 new fighters with 65+ of them being minor characters, they're the only two breakouts.

Caulifla is one of my favourite characters so far in Super, if not my favourite (new) character so far. Her personality reminds me a lot of Gotenks, and he's been one of my favourites for a long time. Her past-times include: fighting, and getting stronger. This is basically OG Dragon Ball Goku to a T. It's incredibly refreshing to have powerful adversary for Goku who isn't a brooding quiet type or a murderous psychopath. Someone who can truly understand his mindset and motivations. She also a great look into Saiyan culture, which we've only ever had bits and pieces of mostly out-of-continuity material to go off of. I think her design is great and I really hope to see more of her.
Kale, on the other hand, is a complete disaster. There is nothing more frustrating for me than the meek-and-timid-character-is-actually-really-strong trope. It was annoying when Gohan was afraid of his own shadow back in Z and it's annoying now with Kale. The "homage" to Broly makes me wish we just had Broly. People complain that Caulifla's power ups were undeserved but Kale unlocked and mastered the power of the Legendary Super Saiyan, a being so powerful that he had to be restrained with magic or else he could destroy entire galaxies in his rage, all because senpai didn't notice her. I don't know if it's just Japanese being awkwardly translated to English, but the "sis" this and "sis" that drove me up a wall. I sincerely hope that the dub introduces some sort of variety to her dialogue because I would like to enjoy my kung fu show free of Japanese high school antics if at all possible. In a perfect world, Vegeta's quote with regard to Kale, "that might be a Saiyan's true form!" (I'm paraphrasing here) would just be foreshadowing Vegeta's eventual unlocking of whatever the supplementary material is calling Kale's LSSJ form nowadays. That''s the only positive I can see in her entire character. Being a prop for Vegeta.
I think it's pretty telling that Kefla had all of Caulifla's personality and none of Kale's.

They were not good enough characters to warrant all the screen time they got. Half of their screen time should have been given to Saonel, Pirina, Cabba and Hit.

I loved Caulifla from the start but Kale still rubs me the wrong way with the SSJ berserker thing. Thankfully Kafla was pretty much Caulifla personality wise.
