Beerus is indeed a standard release. Vegeta being an exclusive makes sense to go along with Goku and Frieza.

I hate to say it, but I think I'm going to stop collecting the Figuarts for the characters that don't really interest me. Production on this line has really fallen over the last year or so. Feels like since most of their market is overseas now, they don't mind cutting corners. The last few releases feel extremely cheap compared to the earlier ones. (they couldn't even be bothered to paint all of Gohan's obi this time; I can clearly see orange on the top of the belt without even extending the figure's torso).

Both Vegetto and Ultimate Gohan have had some questionable sculpt details. My personal figures for both characters have defects as well. The joint Vegetto's head snaps on won't stay together (the ball falls apart) and the peg that's supposed to fit into Gohan's right wrist doesn't go in all the way. So both items fall off if you turn them pretty much at all. I can fix Vegetto with a bit of clear nail polish, but I'm not sure I want to try and deepen Gohan joint...

I know the feeling. I actually cancelled my pre-orders for Ult Gohan, Blue Goku and Gold Frieza simply because I saw no real need to own them. I'm actually considering selling off Vegetto now that I think about it.

So far, I have Awakening Goku, Premium Trunks and Premium Vegeta on pre-order and just waiting for Beerus to go up. Not gonna be getting Blue Vegeta.

Okay, New figuarts popping up. My wallet will hate me...

Angel Goku - I couldn't care less about him.
SSG Goku - I want him.
SS3 Vegeta - Our first what-if.Looks a little off, but still a SHITTON better than Goku.
Porunga - Not going to get too excited over him, because he'll probably suffer the same fate as Shenlong.
Kid Goku - That's not going to be in scale... but I want him.
GT Goku - I'm open to him...
SS4 Goku - Nice to see him again. Totally want.
Whis - He goes with Beerus..
Champa - Need him for Beerus too...
Vados - She goes with Champa...
Armored Trunks - I don't know yet. We'll see.

If Vegeta is getting Ssj3 then we'll probably get more what-ifs such as Ssj4 gohan,ssj3 bardock,ect.

If he gets approved for production, I imagine future what-ifs will depend entirely on his sales.

I wonder, if it sells well, if it could open up the path for SS3 or SS4 Broli though? That might be too big of a risk with being a large figure and a what-if....

If the normal Broly sold well then I don't see why they wouldn't give him a what if form especially if Vegeta's sells well which it probably will.

I honestly think they've stopped trying to scale these characters. Beerus and Whis being close to eye level is painful...

So cool to see DB Kid Goku. I bet like one of these will be release since Mystic Gohan was the only figuart shown off last year that got released. We still haven't got Figuarts of Buuhan. I was surprise to see SSj3 Vegeta since he's a video game exclusive form. I still would have like to see Figuarts of Buu, Mr. Satan and Great Saiyaman be shown off.

So, of all of those I've seen, I'm definitley going to get SSG Goku, SSJ4 Goku, Kid Goku, Whis, Champa, Vados, and maybe GT Goku.

Also, TheDevilsCorpse, you said that Porunga will suffer the same fate as Shenlong. What do you mean by that?

He'll likely get shelved because of production costs. Porunga is a rather large figure (though not as large/long as the Shenlong versions they've shown off), has a LOT of joints, and is a character of questionable popularity. A lot of fans say they want a figure of the dragons, but how many would actually buy it once the price is revealed? If they don't think it's financially viable (as with Shenlong and Nappa thus far), then his prototype will just get tossed into storage until they feel like bringing him out and flaunting him for displays at events.

Porunga will probably be around MonsterArts price level like $50-70 at max. I don't think he will be at $100 or more.

It is disappointing that we see the Super Saiyan 3 Goku figuarts but there is no change in color, so maybe we won't get a SSJ3 Goku and Cell in color corrected form

I don't think he'll be $100 either, but it's still going to be a moderately expensive price amongst fans who aren't entirely committed to desiring a purchase of the character in the first place. A good portion of the non-scalper fanbase for this line still complain when regular figures in the line surpass the ~$40 price point. (Honestly, I'm kind of questioning why SSGSS Vegeta is almost $10 more expensive than SSGSS Goku and Golden Freeza myself.) I'm not sure how many fans will look at it and decide they want to spend $60 (or whatever it ends up being) on Porunga.

I'm sure some fans would love to pick it up though, especially to go with gashapons.

Looking through the photos I've seen of the event, I didn't notice any of the special color versions. So they may just be in a different case or they didn't want to bring repaints and wanted to mostly preview new sculpts at the event?

I understand that but in one of the pics, they showed the Super Saiyan 3 Goku figure but in original colors. I feel that it would be logical to just reveal the premium color version while they're showing the already released figure anyways
