It's either SSj4 Gogeta, or base Goku while building the Spirit Bomb. The world may never know.
Gogeta can't build up a Spirit Bomb?
Hmmm. That brings up an interesting question. Is SSj4 subject to that "no Spirit Bomb while SSj" clause? It works so differently from the other stages to begin with, one can't help but wonder about this aspect.

Honestly, there's a way to work around ANYTHING. In a strict sense, you might not be able to do a Spirit Bomb while in Super Saiyan form, but... They could have Goku do it, then make up for that by stating that it was...

A) A one time thing.
B) The fruits of his hard training.
C) Goku being special.

I know that probably won't happen, but it's possible. (Anything is when the writers have complete control over the storyline) Then again, the series has already come to an end...

Wait, when was it said that SSJs couldn't build up Spirit Bombs?

Movie 7. Goku went Super Saiyan in the middle of preparing one, so he couldn't launch it. It's got something to do with needing a calm heart to build it, but SSj is a rage-fueled transformation, or some bunk like that.

I liked super saiyan 2 but it was hard to tell with Vegeta and Gohan. Well, Gohan I could when he was a teen fighting in the Cell games and the Bojack movie. But it was hard to tell Vegeta and Gohan as an adult without the electricity. As for Goku though I could tell when he was in his first ss form or the 2nd. Just watch the Goku vs Kid Buu fight it will show you how different ss1 and ss2 are. If I had to pick it might be super saiyan 3. Because of the long hair and the power it gives out. Super saiyan 4 was cool because of how mean it looked but like it was already mentioned, it just looked too different.
