Nah, the Makaioshins are weaker than the Kaioshins at this point, according to Toriyama.LightBing wrote:Maybe it's an Makaioshin. One can dream.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

There's a weird fixation, a need to shoehorn Broly into everything. I guess it comes mostly from fans obsessed about power levels, as Broly isn't that interesting a character. Or people who have fond memories of the movies.sintzu wrote:Why anytime there's something new a good amount of fans assume it has something to do with Broly ?
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
It would be funny if Goku fails the test and Boo doesn't.

Wait What test?
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Vegeta suggested a simple written test, so dumb monsters won't join the tournament.pacz360 wrote:Wait What test?
Semi-confirmation Whis isn't originally from U7?Todd Blankenship @Herms98 26m26 minutes ago
Beerus in fact says Whis couldn't participate in the tournament, though he doesn't say why.

If the Namekians used the Super Dragon Balls to create their own, how did God and Muuri pull off making their own sets?Herms98 wrote:The Namekians “shaved down” pieces of these original DBs to create their own. Champa wants to use them to switch U7 and U6's Earths.
Can't wait to hear the complaints about this one.Herms98 wrote:Vegeta even says Gohan probably has the highest potential out of all of them (remember those days?), but Goku says he only studies now.
BUU AND PICCOLO?! That's going to be lots of fun. So glad it isn't a Saiyan team.Herms98 wrote:Universe 7 team: Goku, Vegeta, Boo, Piccolo, and "strongest person Beerus ever fought" (who in a shock twist ISN'T Whis).

With Vegeta and Freeza getting to such plateau's of strength by training. It wouldn't be impossible for a Makaioshin to get there.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:Nah, the Makaioshins are weaker than the Kaioshins at this point, according to Toriyama.
So if this is like Baba's Tournament the supposed order would be:
1st - Piccolo
2nd - Boo
3rd - Vegeta
4th - Goku
5th - New guy/girl
I hope Piccolo isn't there just to get gusted into another planet...; so that the reader can go

It'll probably be like when Naruto took a test at the beginning of part 1.EmmaWinters wrote:I can't wait to see Goku struggle with this.Herms98 wrote:Tournament rules same as Tenkaichi Budokai, plus a written test per Vegeta's suggestion

The written test is pretty suspicious. Obviously it SEEMS like it has something to do with Gohan, but I've lost faith. Watch it be a gag moment where Satan has to teach Boo how to write and read.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
It's obviously not gonna be something too hard, otherwise Goku wouldn't pass either. I'm sure Boo and Goku are around the same level of intelligence.King Jacku wrote:The written test is pretty suspicious. Obviously it SEEMS like it has something to do with Gohan, but I've lost faith. Did Buu ever say a grammatically correct sentence ?Doctor. wrote:

Seriously?! Buu can barely express himself properly as a rational being.Doctor. wrote:I'm sure Boo and Goku are around the same level of intelligence.
Besides, Buu is more of a "dumb strong" kind of fighter, while Goku is a fighting specialist, which does require some level of intelligence. I think SSJ3 Goku vs Buu goes with my point. I don't see them at the same level at all.

Isnt super buu the smartest version of buu.Araki wrote:Seriously?! Buu can barely express himself properly as a rational being.Doctor. wrote:I'm sure Boo and Goku are around the same level of intelligence.

I will wait for the whole chapter but I do not get one stuff about this Super Dragon Balls.
Why are 6 of them in U6 while one is at U7 and Bulma is searching for it?
Are they shared between the 2 univeres or are there 2 sets of Super Dragon Balls?

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Gohan's contribution is obviously going to be him tutoring Goku and Boo so they don't get murdered on the test.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

I'm a little confused about this part. Does Champa have 6 regular Dragon Balls or 6 Super Dragon Balls?
Birusu16's translation:
"Champa says "As expected. A long time ago it was just one huge wish ball that was split into 7. And there is a limit to the wishes.
However, once you assemble the 7 Dragon Balls into one, the scale is different. One is a big as a planet. A Wish Star, if you want. That's how big it is.
And there are no limits, they grant ANY wish. They are called "Super Dragon Balls". Beerus mocks Champa, he still needs another Dragon Ball to create a Super DB."
Herms' translation:
"It's taken Champa "decades" to gather 6 Super DBs (apparently these are all from his universe, but it's not 100% clear)."

Yay Piccolo and Buu!
Also already figured that was one of the things Vegeta likes about Bulma, but interesting to get confirmation about Gokû having a thing for how strong willed Chi-Chi is. His preferences haven't come up before.

I hope Whis helps Piccolo become a god, using the namekian book of legends. They shouldn't just say, do your best weakling....I want Piccolo to wreck some shit again.
Any post before 8/7/2016 isn't mine. This account was a gift from someone who thought the account was already banned. Saved me the trouble of making a new one haha XD

That first one was fake, ignore it. They are all giant sized, Champa has six of those, and there's nothing about them splitting or needing to put together.SaiyaSith wrote:I'm a little confused about this part. Does Champa have 6 regular Dragon Balls or 6 Super Dragon Balls?
