Who's that one random character you really hate/love?

So who's that one random character that you find yourself either really loving or really hating for small reasons, big reasons, or even just straight up unknown reasons. These characters are the one's that are generally ignored by most fans or seen more as a random footnote in the history of Dragon Ball as opposed to a major player like Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, or Piccolo.

For instance, a character I find myself really liking is #16. Despite the fact that he really doesn't do much in the Cell arc, I just can't help but loving his design and the bit of personality we do see. I mean sure he's kind of a Hatchan ripoff, but man he's just such a cooler character than Hatchan. That cool mohawk! That gargantuan build! That gentle soft spoken voice!That strong but silent demeanor! He's so cool! Only a true man can pull off green over black and I'm not talking about Gohan! This gentle giant of a man won't mess with you or show off his might, but if you threaten his friends or try to kill his birds, you better watch out! This guy's so awesome that he's the one ripoff I deem superior to the original.

Then there's Goku Jr.... I hate this kid so much... He's the typical spoiled brat who has everything handed to him because he's special, because he's Goku's descendant despite the fact that he doesn't even deserve to have a 'go' in his name let alone be named 'Goku'. This kid runs away from all his problems and is constantly saved by those around him despite the fact that he could easily fend for himself. I hate this kid. He's everything Goku isn't in the worst possible way. Goku worked hard to get where he was. Goku Jr. was given it. Goku enjoyed fighting strong guys because he wanted to better himself. Goku Jr. would rather play video games than train let alone fight strong people. Goku fought with rage against those who hurt or killed his friends. Goku Jr. ran away from them. This sad little punk is a disgrace. I hope that weird Vegeta Jr. kid beat the tar out of him when they fought at the end of Dragon Ball GT.

I don't really have that strong opinions on the characters, but I do like most of the main cast.

I do appreciate the human supporting cast more than most, particularly Tien, Yamcha, Bulma, Yajirobe and Chi Chi. Chiaotzu is the only one I never cared for but its mainly blazing indifference.

If we're counting movie characters, then Lord Slug was awful. Nothing more than a bad copy of King Piccolo right down to the letter. Don't know what the hell Toei was thinking when they created him.

I despise the entire concept of Broli with passion. I think the idea of a "legendary Super Saiyan" cheapens the accomplishments of Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and everyone, like they're not "real" super saiyans or something. Besides he's devoid of personality and his design is essentially "lot of hair + lot of muscles + screaming = cool!"

As for villains I can get behind, Cell is the best antagonist in Dragonball. He has all the evil of Freeza and Boo without the constant whining or stupidity (respectively)

I think pretty much everyone here knows about my hate for Kaioshin, but I feelings for Pan (GT) have risen from dislike to LOATHING after re-watching GT. Her ridiculous attitude added with the lack of self-irony and lack of any usefulness (in fact, she causes a lot more problems than she solves) was really hard to watch. She was like Bulma on Namek 2.0 only with more screentime and the ability to kick ass (even though she gets knocked out by fucking DEBRIS).

I now hate her almost as much as Kaioshin...

Baby from GT. I love the concept behind him and he could have been a great villain, but he's ultimately is just bland as fuck and just felt like one of the villains from the DBZ movie, all flash no substance. Zero fucks given for that guy.

Well I used to hate Pilaf but he's growing on me now.

The absolute worst character of them all is easily GT Pan though.What makes it much worse is the sheer amount of screentime she has.

Goku is at the top of my shit list thus far and I don't see him going back down. He's basically every asshole who does whatever he wants in life and the universe magically works everything out for him. Wife being pissy about him not providing for his family? She'll forget about it! Your 7 year old son who grew up without a dad because you chose to stay dead? He'll forget about it! Your other son only being useful to you as a punching bag? He won't care! Seriously. Fuck. Goku.

Unless Super has a moment where the stars finally align with him fucking up and legitimately coming to terms with this and the other characters acknowledging his bad behavior and doing something about it for once, he'll stay the numero uno scumbag of DB for me.

Uranai Baba's Ghost Attendant is cute and tiny and basically a cooler version of Puer because Puer is just a cat, and the Ghost Attendant is a ghost. Ghosts are cool. Other minor characters that I really love are Mai(pushing it?), Sno, Sogoro and Sukogoro from GT, Pui-Pui, Berry from Episode of Bardock, and Marron.

Is Baby too major of a character? Because he is awful. Completely uninteresting and nonsensical backstory and motives, plus the Baby Vegeta design is just hideous. Baby's insectoid, giant eyes just don't look right plastered on "Vegeta's" face, and I use quotes because, really, Vegeta has been altered and changed to the point in GT where he's unrecognizable. The mish-mash of yellow, green-blue, red, and white incorporated into his outfit is really jarring and unappealing to look at.

I feel like Zarbon, Dodoria, and Kwi are also too major to mention, but those guys are boring, too. I suppose there aren't any minor characters I really dislike. You kind of have to do something wrong(or have a a lot of screentime and do nothing, like Gohan) for me to dislike you.

Oh, forgot about the Tenkaichi announcer. Love that guy... especially since he's the only human with no personal connection with the Z-Warriors to see through Mr. Satan's bullshit.

I always thought Zarbon was kind of cool. Before the Ginyu force he was portrayed as Freeza's right hand man and strongest fighter. I love the fact that he got to beat Vegeta the first time around too. I also liked that we continued to see him after he died in either the Bardock special or various flashbacks with new animation.

I find "Kid Trunks" and Goten pretty annoying, and I think Broli is incredibly overrated, but I don't think I actually "hate" any characters as such.

I've never found Mr. Satan much funny, making every scene he's in just drag for me. Fat Buu's also kinda annoying.

Konkichi was a nice filler character. Almost like a delinquent version of Krillin. Similary, he and Goku had good chemistry, with one being street smart but physically weak, while the other is naive but immensely powerful.

Does Fatty J count (my avatar)? Everyone always refers to Super Janemba when they talk about this character, but I find that form boring. Fatty J is the greatest/cuddliest villain ever in Dragon Ball. <3333

Hate

I hate Bra. I don't mean GT Bra, who I hate even more, but EoZ Bra. I just can't stand her Bulma clone design, I hate that she looks so much older than Pan, and her personality seems generic. Just a really pointless character all around. If I had the power to redesign her, I'd make her look more like Chibi Chibi from Sailor Moon in terms of stature, as well as a toddler who happens to also possess a genius level intellect when it comes to building stuff--something unbeknownst to pretty much everyone except, possibly, Pan and Uub. Only thing worse than seeing her being reintroduced as a Videl 2.0 or Bulma clone would be her having SSJ powers like every fan ever seems to clamor on about. I don't even want that for Pan. Ugh.

I just started a rewatch of the show and can't believe how quickly I forgot about Baby Gamera! He is cool also!

I've always had a soft spot for Tarble and Bra. I don't even have much of a reason for it. Bra always had a cool design, in a Bulma jr kind of way, while Yo! was my favorite of the OVA's. Random for sure, but I like them.
