Filler and Super?

Any filler will be non-canon.
Manga is canon.

Filler in Super so far seems to be filler from Kai. Filler not from Kai like Garlic Jr probably won't be in Super since no one outside the hardcore fans will know who he is. Besides the filler in Super are just small stuff like background characters. So far no major filler characters like Pikkon have show up yet.

In Super the manga is not the original work, it's promotional material for the anime.

People are arguing the manga=canon because its slightly different than the anime apparently.

It doesn't fit with Kai. Kai is same as Z and hell is different that what is shown with Freeza in Super.

That's more of a plot hole,I don't think garlic jr happened in the super continuity. Besides GT makes super non canon by default in terms of anime canon,either its fits with kai or the manga and considering it has filler its not manga canon. Toei has GT as the sequel to Z,this doesn't fit with GT.
