Head over to that link below, and scroll down. Seriously, Toei do not care about presentation, especially with a weekly anime, which requires a lot of hard work on a grueling schedule.

I'm sure that the "poorly animated" episodes will be in the extreme minority over the course of the Series, all the other episodes up to now have been perfectly fine in my opinion.

On a separate note, I wonder how long Toei expect Super to last?. I hope they don't just finish the Universe 6 Arc and call it a day. I assume that as long as Toriyama-Sensei is happy to continue providing them with Story drafts & character designs, alongside strong viewing figures & merchandise sales, they'll continue on?.
Yikes. And it doesn't help the the pacing of the One Piece anime has been awful too.

I'd figure if a saga ain't in the manga, but it is in the anime, it's filler, right? The RF saga wasn't in the manga, so it ain't cannon. For me personally, I don't really care about this cannon/non-cannon crap, but I still won't put the RF saga in my "personal" canon.
In the case of Super the manga is not the original work.

You either consider both arcs as filler or "canon", there's no pick or choosing. I guess you can still choose between the movies or the tv series but, either way, they were still created by Toriyama in a not-in-the-manga-but-still-fitting kind of way.

To be fair, most of those are zoomed in backgrounds and in-betweens (which is the MO when people want to nitpick).
The OP anime had some rough times, but it's doing fine at the moment other than the pacing, that's something you get used to.

Saint Seiya Omega had some animation fixes though, and that was a tv show. I guess this shows that Toei has no interest at all in selling DBS discs, and is just looking at tv sponsors.

Long running shows don't have a history of selling well I believe. So why bother going back when they can move forward with upcoming episodes? It's one bad episode out of 12 and it happened once out of 20 episodes not like it's a regular occurrence.
Long running shows do sell better internationally (so maybe just maybe they'll fix it for that.) While not a Toei show take Fairy Tail as an example the 2014 series has been bundled in with the monthly Fairy Tail Magazine DVD only and as far as I am aware that's the only way you can buy the show in Japan, yet FUNi are releasing it like normal and in BD.

Did it? I remember the first episode fixed one single continuity mistake, and another one removed Hyoga's bandages in a flashback, but i didn't hear about any art or animation improvement. Are there some comparisons?

Yeah, long running shows tend to sell less than 1000 copies per volume, and some of them, like Fairy Tail and Hunter x Hunter, i can't remember ever seeing ranking at all, which means they sold less than 500, i guess. No wonder they went that route with FT. So fixes are not worth the trouble when you don't rely on disc sales (not to mention the schedule for long running shows are already tight as it is), but like you said, for international sales they really should do something about episode 5.

I just feel bad for naoki tate, he got and will get bad rep for that episode when people will go to see who was the Animation supervisor. I personally like tate and feel like its unfair to him and entire staff of episode 5.

Right not to mention SMC's episode schedule was fairly irregular, and only 24-26 episodes, Super is close to hitting that and we are no way near done.
As web series of popular older properties, they seemed to be aimed at the nostalgia crowd. And for a shorter series, every episode matters more as far as home video sales go.

But Super is clearly a mass market children's TV show, where home video sales are usually less of a priority. It could potentially last for years if it's popular enough, but even at one year of weekly episodes #5 will just be a drop in the bucket in the end.
Isn't Sailor Moon and Saint Seiya also market to kids in Japan? I do remember that Sailor Moon got happy meal toys at McDonalds a while ago. They probably do care about children merchandise sales for those too.

Sailor Moon's trying to market to a variety of age groups atm. Look at this $324 watch: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interes ... 324/.95793

On the other end you have little keychain things like these: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOGDS-166555 and this ice cream party box http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOGDS-158632

Remember how they said Vegeta and Goku will journey to Universe 6?. Ok, The tournament arc is in universe 7 as far as I know, so that means that after this, we're going to universe 6. Atleast that's what I think. It would be terrible if the new db super in years had a few arcs with only one of them being original and the others movie rehashes

I didn't even think about that.

If they're going to U6 then could this mean they lose the tournament ?

IIRC Toriyama only mentioned that "they will be fighting their neighbors from Universe 6!", or something among these lines. I don't think he said anything about traveling to Universe 6.

"and then, I’ve written a strange new story where they finally depart from this universe. They’re fighting against their neighbors, Universe 6! They’ll yell at me if I give away too many spoilers, so I’ll keep the rest a secret, but they’re chasing after giant Super Dragon Balls; I think things will unfold in a bright and simple way, that will be really fun and exciting!

Since it’s another universe, loads of new characters will turn up. I’ll do my best to draw the tons of character designs necessary, so I’m looking forward to this too."

Sounds to me like they're going to Universe 6 after the Tournament.

I think Universe 7 wins, Champa reveals he's been collecting the Universe 7 Super Dragon Balls and comes with when they get the last one and then steals the wish and part of that seals the team in Universe 6, I mean the dude has been searching for them for decades, I think he has a bad wish in mind. Then the only way to get back because they are there because of the Super Dragon Balls is a wish from the Universe 6 Balls.

22 is the Ginyu one and it's buried somewhere in this thread. Fukushima's writing that one. There's no info on 23 yet as far as I know.

This is for sure:
Episode 22: Undecided
Having been reborn as the mightiest of warriors after serving as Freeza’s training partner, Tagoma of the Freeza Army mercilessly attacks Gohan and the others. And then Tagoma changes bodies with Ginyu (previously captain of the Freeza Army's mightiest unit, who became stuck in the form of a frog due to his special ability), achieving an even further power-up.
GojiitaAF is usually right, but I'm sure those are not the full titles:
