Wow it's been a while since I've seen the episodes this episode was made out of. That final flash was cool.

That was an amazing episode to watch. I thoroughly enjoyed it start to finish, especially because some of the things I speculated about with my friends came true (such as adding Cell saying "Oh s**t!" to the Final Flash scene ). The reason for Gohan's transformation was all I could ask for, and the Faulconer remix you added was great! I can do nothing but give praise and wait for next time. World's Strongest, right? Should be interesting!

In the going on ten years I've been lucky to watch this series, I've only experienced chills once: This episode, when the international soundtrack was used. The lot of us didn't grow up with the Japanese dub and soundtrack, so we may hear the musical cues, but we don't feel them. Except for that one moment in this episode. It was wonderful.

Great episode! Loved it from start to finish. Great delivery in telling the jokes and the pacing was perfect. I absolutely loved Gohan's Super Saiyan transformation. I was unsure how you guys were gonna tackle that one. That was the perfect trigger to Gohan's transformation. I can see that while Perfect Cell is biologically complete, he is still hilariously immature; I'm so glad that wasn't taken away from his character. Cell's banter with Vegeta was gold. The icing on the cake for me was Trunks' and Krillin's back and forth moments; Trunks being in heavy denial about Vegeta not going to get killed and Krillin's frustration with Trunks. Definitely one of my favorite episodes. Keep it up, guys!

I like how the title works perfectly for DBZ but also along with the number is a perfect DC reference . Did you guys plan that out a long time ago or was that just perfect timing on accident.

I knew the Kienzan scene couldn't be cut out. It wasn't dwelled upon, but I knew it had to be in. It's comedy gold by itself.

This is my favourite episode in sometime. I've enjoyed the others too, but this was a top notch one for me. Cell's final line to Vegeta is just the cold hard truth.

I'm surprised the Kienzan failing didn't count towards the Owned Count itself. I mean after all that time being constantly told to use the damn thing and he finally does. Ah well, the kick made up for it. I also loved the use of the Faulconer track for the Final Flash scene. It matched the moment perfectly and was one of those times that using one was acceptable.

Also poking at a certain dub with Cell saying "Oh shit!" are we?

I'm just surprised that TFS would actually use Faulconer themes. Not only one of them but two, in one episode! I thought the scene of Cell humming the Perfect Cell theme would have been the closest we'd get.

Kaiser should have counted it, but he said earlier he didn't really want to do the Kienzan scene. I guess this was a compromise. We got the Kienzan scene, but not the full extent of it's potential humour.

"Should have" is subjective. I decided that the whole scene counted as 1 owned count. Especially considering this is Kuririn's most powerful attack (and one of the most powerful in the series), and Cell just took it head on. That's not Kuririn being owned, that's Cell being a monster.

Second, "full extent" of it's humor? I'm sorry, but I personally believe the KOC is one of the most tired, inane jokes in our show and I'm so happy that we've likely seen the last of it for a good long while. It hardly makes scenes funnier and has outlived it's humor to me.

The only, only reason we used it is because we're using a completely remade version. It's an orchestral cover of the song that keeps the positive qualities of the original.

If people are put off by us using that score, I make no apologies. We've used scores from all over the series, including the games, the new movies, Kai, Kai BUU, and even Evolution. While I truly, honestly despise the replacement score, I'd be remiss to not understand it's cultural relevance or it's few redeeming pieces of music.

The face that Goku made when Gohan pushed backed his blast in ROSAT was adorable.

And dat SSJ Vegeta theme remix was just... glorious. I'm not a huge fan of Faulconer, but I'll make an exception for that.

Sorry to post this twice but it was the last post on a page. Anyways... Kaiser I assume you guys named the episode Flashpoint because of the final flash but also because it was episode 52 and Flashpoint was what came before the New 52 in DC. Did you guys plan that out or did it just happen to line up (how long ago did you realize it would)? I know its probably nothing big, I'm just curious.

Oh and for music, I say keep using some Faulconer. I thought it fit great and there are other good tracks and I'm sure a decent bit of your fans know DBZ through the old Funi dub. In my opinion the biggest problem with the replacement track was that it never stopped and was always playing. Where as I always thought the original would benefit from a bit more music (the final flash scene for instance). But you control how much music is in DBZa so that doesn't have to be a issue.
