Guys, after reading all your posts and replys, I just had to add myself to the mix to. I'm 100% pissed about this crappy release of the so called "remastered" DBZ set.
Hey, don't get me wrong, I love DBZ but the way FUNi has been handling their DBZ DVD releases is just to spit on.
Oh, heres the number to FUNimation offices. I'm not sure if this number works but give it a try.
Funimation Productions Ltd : (214) 340-5066
If you truly love DBZ then you give your opinon straight up to them.
I'm so mad that after 10 years of DBZ from FUNimation, they still can't get it right!!! I mean, I don't get it!? FUNi can make Fullmetal, Spiral, DragonBall, and etc. right but why does DBZ has to suffer!? How hard is it to smack Toei and gain the right video and the previews from them!?
Can someone buy all of the DragonBox, then somehow add english subtitles to them and sell it cause I would gladly buy them from you!!!!

I dont think people should call them up, it'd be a waste of time. What are they gonna say? Yea, your right we'll change it?
Someone: Dude I'm uber pissed about that new box set. Change it now!
FUNimation: You've shown me the light. I am so very very sorry and I beg for your forgiveness. I will go change all of them right now and send you a free copy and $100 to show my deepest regret.
Someone: Really?
FUNimation: No. Stop calling or I'll call the cops.

Well, something like that probably would happen if you just call u pand say "I IZ the OOBER PISSED KHANJE IT NOW!!!!11" but if maybe you call them, find out who to talk to about not being satistied with the products and then talk to said people with a bit of intelligence.
If enough intelligent people start calling, maybe you'll get an intelligent response (i.e. better products).

Guys, I know it was funny, but come on.
A whole post IS NOT "lol!!!" or "rofl!!"
And thank you for the number. I will be calling them, and yes, I'll be intelligent about it. I don't think I'll be ale to change it single-handedly, so maybe a couple of other people should try asking them as well.

Maybe so, but only if they can keep their tempers during the call and not start sounding like purely spiteful fans halfway through. You need calm and persuasive diplomats for this kind of thing, not angry flamers... o__o;nathantheguitarist wrote:Guys, I know it was funny, but come on.

!
This is true; I may seem like a crazy psychotic person in my posts, but the internet has it's limitations... and blah, and stuff...KinoFourpaws wrote:You need calm and persuasive diplomats for this kind of thing, not angry flamers... o__o;
This is true... but I'll hopefully be adding to the more intelligible side of the fanbase that's upset over this.SonGokuGT wrote:Only a couple? You need a legion to get them to change!
But I still don't understand how that petition with 2000-some-odd names didn't work... Maybe they'll need 2000 er... testimonials?
Yeah, that's a good idea, people record your thoughts and problems on this situation, and send it to FUNi. If written credibility isn't good enough for 'em, then maybe spoken word will be...
(wishful thinking... that will probably be ignored... whee!)

Hey guys, I'll have the set in my hands tomorrow so I'll give you my thoughts on it. I'll also be able to watch it on my HDTV with an up-convert DVD player connected by HDMI. That means I'll be able to watch it in the standard progressive scan of 480p and also in 1080i. I'll let you know what i think of the remastering from that setup. I plan on watching it on a regular TV hooked up with composite cables and then in the setup above.

Or just post a 10-sec video clip. That's what we really want.Slickmasterfunk wrote:Hey guys, I'll have the set in my hands tomorrow so I'll give you my thoughts on it.
