Bra isn't exactly a highlight haha. I'm just looking forward to Cell vs Vegeta. I'm picking Cell to win that fight. He's been one of my favorites thus far in this tournament. He is as cunning as he is malicious. There are stronger fighters but he's been the most resourceful fighter thus far. At least from what I can remember during the last 1153 pages.

Adding on to the whole "did Multiverse expand things positively" discussion, I think it very much did at multiple points in the story...

Stuff like this is one of the reasons why I find Multiverse enjoyable. I like the idea of expanding on existing abilities instead of outright giving them new ones (i.e. Future Trunks using USSJ in a more efficient manner, Raditz/Kakarotto's blutz wave generator, Kaoiken being distributed to other characters, etc.). The lack of the typical fan-manga MO of "hey, let's give everyone new forms" is rather refreshing.

As for Gotenks, this looks like a different variation of the dance that ignores the "cooldown" time; I wonder if there's any drawbacks.

For as shit as the specials are, the main chapters are legitimately enjoyable. Multiverse is by far the best fanmanga as long as it's actually producing relevant content.

I'm no multiverse apologist, but I fail to see how their unnecessary changes are any worse than Toriyama's. When it comes to writing, the setting is a canvas, not a chain. He's not bound to make everything identical to the source material.

The special chapters only exist to stall for time and are easily skippable. Paying any attention to them is like paying attention to the fake namek filler in DBZ.

It's probably more fair to compare EoB to the specials than to the main plot of DBM. EoB isn't anything close to the main plot of DBZ or even Toei's products.
