Monaka on the cover of the april issue of V-Jump gives me some villainish vibes.Whis was also against inviting him on the tournament because "something bad" might happen.Then Beerus said to leave it to him.

Whis says Monaka means, "great ponta." Monaka is a hero from the planet, Wagashi (japanese for "sweets"). He's very calm/shy and kind but once he bares his fangs, he can give even Beerus some trouble.

So i have my own theory about Hit. I think he has the ability to force leak someone's ki out. Since it seems that ssb is based on keepings one's own ki in, that would be a devastating move. I think because of his abilities, Goku and Vegeta wont be able to use ssb. That way, Hit can easily beat them and then have to fight monaka.

That would be the worst... You knwo first hyping that Goku was only the 2nd strongest Beerus have fought and later all the Beerus hype and suddenly it was all a fraud? For what? To motivate them? They already have enough motivation with catching to Beerus and Whis...

Exactly, Monaka being a weakling would be a turn off for me, why would Beerus want to motivate individuals that in the future could have power enough to kill him? Isn't he all proud of being the motherf***ing God Of Destruction that no one (besides Champas, Whis and Vados) could touch? It doesn't make sense for me.

I'm going to go ahead and write what i think he's trying to say "Do you remember when Whis and Beerus flew to Monaka's home. Whis questioned his motives. When goku punched Monaka he didn't move at all. Do you remember when krilling threw a rock at Goku in the Cell saga (basically saying being off guard is important). Why would Beerus lie to goku? Does he have a motive. No he's not motivating Goku to train because the tournament is what they're supposed to train for and it's already the tournament. And when Goku will fight hit, he'll probably lose because he wants to see how Monaka will fight.

I don't really see the logic behind how one thing is supposed to exclude the other, to be honest: you're acting like the manga "spoiled" the fact that Monaka is strong, but if it's supposed to promote things what would be the sense of giving us a spoiler?
The quote in the manga isn't different from the "Monaka is the strongest person I ever fought" statement present in both anime and manga.

The status quo in both anime and manga is "Monaka <= Beerus", the surprise would be "Monaka is a weakling". If Monaka is a weakling, then the red herrings are all those quotes about how strong Monaka was supposed the be; if he turns out to be strong, the red herring is the latest discussion between Beerus and Whis that gives the strking impression that Monaka may not be strong.

I'm just remarking that we don't know how strong Monaka is because we have yet to see the guy doing anything at all, the only thing we know is how strong Monaka is supposed to be.
