People are just tired of Goku and Vegeta.They need someone other than them to have an important fight.I mean Piccolo was told to fuck off,Boo was kicked out,if Goku will win against Hit,then the U6 team is all defeated by Goku and Vegeta.They could have Monana,but once he was revealed to be an amateur,almost all hope was gone.

I kind of thought about this. I thought of what bothers me so much it's just them and no one else. Why Goku in Dragon Ball never bothered me, but does now. Then it came to me. Goku grew up and changed over the course of Dragon Ball. Goku and Vegeta don't really learn anything in Super. Their perspectives never change. They'll be the same people by the beginning and likely end of Super. One good moment in F which had Goku and Vegeta character development written all over it, was totally laughed off. So instead we clamor for new/old characters as if they're not going to really grow, might as well at least add more flavours to the main event by getting more to the group's power players. Considering the stance on Gohan, Piccolo's use, Boo being an after thought, and the boys being only worth anything as fusion, seems the "new" characters are our only hope.

I think giving Goku and Vegeta huge power-ups that make they way ahead Gohan and the others was not a good thing at all, it pretty much dispenses these characters from the plot.

I mean, what is the use of Goten and Trunks now? They're useless, so useless that they didn't even care to make them age!

People argue that now we have a bunch of new characters, but will the series let them show more about themselves and not only Goku and Vegeta?

I actually wouldn't mind if Goku died because of the Kaioken. We know how much Mr.Toriyama likes to give Goku slap's on the wrist. Goku would also stay dead for a while, to show up at the mid/end stretch of the following arc. Copying the pattern ever since the Raditz fight.
It would also keep Goku weaker than Beerus definitely, since the Kaioken would be unusable.

This is actually not a bad idea. Would give other characters a chance to shine.

I want Goku to die as well, since dying in DB doesnt exactly mean you're out of the picture, he was dead on the Boo arc and kept on appearing here and now even had major fights.
Being dead grants Goku some advantages like less stamina zaps when he transforms.

I just had a thought that the leaked summary for episode 40 does not really line up with what is going to happen.

We don't know that. The summary just avoids mentioning Goku vs Hit, as they don't spoil it all.
Summaries often cover different parts of an episode, and Champa trying to kill his team members could easily happen in the 2nd half or the last 5 minutes.

Does he really need to die for the third time? Especially when you just know he'll come back anyway and could eventually be killed a fourth time.

If they're gonna have him lose it better be more creative that that.

Not sure what you mean by "real match" but he did defeat Yakon all by himself.

Yakon was a small nobody.

He's talking about main villains like Vegeta, Freeza, Cell, Buu, Beerus & Golden Freeza.

Out of those 6 he only defeated Freeza on Namek which was a very long time ago compared to where we are now.

I'm pretty sure Hellspawn means a competitive match. Yakon and Botamo weren't really opponents who pushed Goku to extremes like how Ginyu, Freeza, Hit etc. were/are doing. They were quick work for Goku after he thought about it a little. I'm with Hellspawn, I want Goku to win against Hit now since losing a 3rd time after Beerus and Freeza would just feel predictable at this point. I want Vegeta to win that kind of match in the future too, Piccolo as well.

I want Goku to lose I prefer the trend of him losing it makes everything less predictable I think. Hit who is not even at full power survives a Super Saiyan blue Kaioken x10 kamehameha deserves to win.

That's a good question but I don't think he attacked him, just sort of knocked him out.

No. Frost is still alive. You can see him on the bench with the rest of U6 fighters after Hit attacks him.
