Do you make those resin statues? If not, I can't even imagine how much all of those cost you. I would love to have some but they're so expensive.

Well, I pretty much just melted. I've got some friends in Boston who are currently at Anime Boston right now. One them just met Toshio Furukawa (Piccolo) and his wife Shino Kakinuma (Videl in Kai). He was kind enough to get me two tankoubon signed during the autograph session!
Very happy! I now have signatures from Nozawa, Horikawa, Nakao, and now Furukawa and Kakinuma!
Hopefully one day I'll be able to meet these wonderful people in person.

And my new,favorite mug!
Welcome to Kanzenshuu! collecting Dragonball stuff is addicting
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128 Still recording Toonami broadcasts on VHS after all these years! #1 Paikuhan fan!
Are those dragonball (first series) DVD's uk or something? Mine don't have the pictures on the top.
Any post before 8/7/2016 isn't mine. This account was a gift from someone who thought the account was already banned. Saved me the trouble of making a new one haha XD
I love DB/DBZ/DBGT/DBZK/DBS (If I didn't why would I be here? XD)
Apologies for some of the photos being bad angles and a bit blurry... I had to awkwardly steady my hand for some.
Anyway, this is the majority of my collection... have a bunch more posters, completed puzzles and old toys, plus a set of the VIZ manga elsewhere, but here is my display.
And yes, I did purchase a second Complete Illustrations and a few Colour Manga volumes and decorate my collection with cut-outs from one of them. It felt dirty to do at first, but I loved the result.
Spoiler:
Yo! Cal's the name. Nice to meet you!
Lover of all that is pure and fun in the worlds of Dragon Ball, Jim Henson and so forth!
3DS Friend Code 1418-7854-8786. I'm always playing Pokemon, so PM me yours for Friend Safari and battling! :D

Those are the Australian Madman Dragon Ball DVDs and the Funimation American DVDs didn't have the picture at the top.
Thanks for the info. I assume it's more then different packaging and not the Funimation dub?

So kind of an odd pickup but when I was a kid in 1999-2000 I would pick up Dbz coloring and activity books from the grocery store and have been looking for them recently. Two weeks ago on ebay this guy had a box of them and I snagged it for 10$ they are unused.
@LSSJGODSSJ4Gogeta The madman DragonBall DvD's actually have the funimation dub in English. The only real difference I've noticed between R1 Funimation dvd's and the R4 Madman ones are the English Subtitles are a bit larger and in yellow font.
The R1 Saga of Goku DVD sets used the 1995 BLT edited dub. The R4 Saga of Goku DVD sets only use the 1995 BLT edited dub for Curse of the Blood Rubies, and uses the usual mix of Japanese audio with subs and the 2002(?) uncut in-house dub for the actual episodes.
However, a couple DVDs from the R4 Fortuneteller Baba sets have issues like one episode only having subtitles, another skips a large chunk of an episode if the Japanese track is selected.

Jack is just kinda dumb.
Spoiler:
It's believable someone would name a mouse Jack.
It's not at all believable someone would call a mouse Mouse.
Takes you straight out of the experience.
Neither line is good, but Funi's is so much worse [when compared to Blue Water's].

To be more specific about the R4 Fortuneteller DVD:
1) Episode 73 for the Japanese audio only has dubtitles (so it uses the script of the English dub / subs for the English dub).
2) On the second part of episode 81 it skips to episode 83 (bad DVD authoring and it wasn't fixed for the UK release either).
