Well that's Dragon Ball Online, this is Xenoverse 2. If Fu does show up, he could be from the farther-than-Towa's-and-Mira's-future future.

No shame in being gullible. I am pretty gullible too, just not gullible enough to believe that.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

So what's everyone's checklist for the game?
Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
Unless they do put it out for PS3 as well, I don't plan on getting it. If I wanted it for PC, I'd have to spend $800-1000 on a new PC since I've had it for 6yrs and, for electronics, it's feeling it's age. If I wanted PS4, I'd still have to shell out around $400 for a new PS4, then $60-70 for the game, and then another $50 a year just for PS+. I'm already paying for my internet. I don't wanna pay for it twice. So, yes, I'm looking at this from a Cost/Benefit perspective. PS3 works for me cause I own one already and the PSN is free. I haven't opted for a PS4 because I can already watch Blu-Ray and everything else on the PS3 and I don't need upgraded graphics for my game when the majority of new games have absolutely shitty stories. And I don't feel like I need to be online all the time for every game I own.Anime Kitten wrote: I actually almost did believe it...![]()

So, I'm hoping they wisen up and put it out for previous gen consoles as well. Since that's where their biggest sales will end up going. Especially for a DBZ game. The graphics between the PS3 and PS4 version of Xenoverse was practically non-existent. And I don't see much of a difference for XV2.

For the sake of you and many others here, I would hope they'll put it on PS3/360, but honestly I don't think they will. Even if they did, it wouldn't be 60 FPS on those two.
How you feel would be how I'd feel if the game got an M rating for some reason. And I don't think it will.

Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
I can deal with 30FPS as long as the game is stable and they fixed all those hitbox issues. But really, more than anything, if they don't impress me with the story, there's no reason to even get it. If I want to play as my MC, I'll play XV1. If I want to play as Cooler, Bardock, Janemba, Android 13 and all that, I still have Burst Limit 2, Budokai 1-3 and Tenkaichi 1-3. If it's just extra characters and stages without development on the story, then it's not worth my time or money to get.Anime Kitten wrote:For the sake of you and many others here, I would hope they'll put it on PS3/360, but honestly I don't think they will. Yeah, I always assumed Mira was made to be both Towa's bodyguard AND a really big sex toy.Nejishiki wrote:I believe Fu is a bastard child so no worries on that front.

First, the majority of sales came from current gen and PC. Second, Xenoverse didn't have much difference (graphic wise) between PS3 and PS4 cause it was cross-gen game. Even the PC version wasn't huge upgrade. And last but not least, since you are a console player double the frame rate is much difference.
By the way, aren't you the one who said Assassin's Creed or Call of Duty has only one year of dev cycle?
Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
The longest time between releases was the first AC and the 2nd one, AC1 released in 2007, AC2 released in 2009. And then both AC2's expansions came out in 2010, along with AC Brotherhood, and it's expansions came out in 2010 and 2011, with AC Revelations coming out in 2011, and it's three parts of extra content releasing between 2011-2012 with, again, AC3 coming out in 2012 and it's DLC running through 2012-2013, with yet again AC4 Black Flag releasing in 2013 with all of it's DLC that year as well. And the next two titles, Rogue and Unity, both dropping in 2014 with Unity getting DLC in 2015, the same year AC Syndicate dropped, with its three DLC packs running through 2015-2016. This is not including all their spin-off games.Zenkashuu wrote: By the way, aren't you the one who said Assassin's Creed or Call of Duty has only one year of dev cycle?

Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
You know, Ubisoft has several teams working on this games. No decent game is developed in one year. And Zenkashuu is right, Xenoverse sales were higher on current gen. Bandai Namco knows its bussiness, they wouldn't drop the past gen if it were more lucrative...Zelvin wrote:The longest time between releases was the first AC and the 2nd one, AC1 released in 2007, AC2 released in 2009. I will answer only this since we are going off topic.Zelvin wrote:The longest time between releases was the first AC and the 2nd one, AC1 released in 2007, AC2 released in 2009. Ubisof DOES NOT have one dev team neither does Activision with Call of Duty (Sledgehammer, Treyarch and Infinity Ward). Moreover, like many studios they are outsourcing.
"We are making sure the teams who are creating the different iterations have enough time—two years, three years, so that they can take risk and they can change the concept enough so that it can be appealing and fresh," Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot

NO. Putting the game on last gen would be absolutely stupid. It's holding new games back just because some people are too stubborn to upgrade. It's been almost three years. Last gen needs to die already.

I think people need to move on to the PS4 and XO already. People already move on the PS3 and 360 by 2009. It's not things are different any different now. It's apart of being a console gamer since you always have to move on to the next console to play the high end games.

I agree. I'd say in a few more years we'll be begging them to only make games for the PS4 Neo, Xbox Scorpio, and PC. Imagine being able to run Xenoverse on the DBO scale.Hellspawn28 wrote:I think people need to move on to the PS4 and XO already. People already move on the PS3 and 360 by 2009. I'm definitely upgrading to next gen along with Xenoverse 2 but my only issue that I can't import my character and could miss out on some features that would only be possible with an import.Hellspawn28 wrote:I think people need to move on to the PS4 and XO already.
