"Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread

I can't wait to find out how that Tree of Might map works out, Xenoverse's maps are the most detailed I've seen in a Dragon Ball videogame.
Super 17 and Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta pretty much confirm Super 17 and Shadow Dragons arc, but it's weird they chose Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta... They could have easily made a GT costume for Vegeta to go with GT Goku.

We might still get that in the full game, we've seen GT Vegeta's outfit on custom characters. Hopefully we don't end up with situations like the first game where there are lots of costumes available to custom characters that aren't available to the character they come from, for example Goku's Yardrat outfit.

I would love to see a destroyed city from GT as a map. Fighting against Nuova/Eis/Omega on it would be great. I didn't like a concept in Xenoverse's dlc when we had to fight against shadow dragons on the desert.

Yup. We've also seen Bebi's costume, so let's pray to have him in game. His Ozaru form in XV1 was fine, but it was just Ozaru.

Goku had almost every version of his typical orange/blue gi, but we had Presets with weak stats and sometimes bad movesets instead of actual costumes.

Oh, I thought you were talking about presets for custom characters. I also really hope we can customize the movesets for the series characters.

I hope so too since we don't need too many versions of the same character. I always feel like there should be one Vegeta by giving him his outfits from Saiyan-Buu saga, Super and GT for alts. They can pull off a MKX and give his Saiyan and Namek saga outfits their own set of dialogue. It would be cool to see Vegeta as a SSj Blue in his own Saiyan armor or Majin Vegeta in his GT outfit. I loved having Majin Vegeta with the Saiyan saga armor in Budokai 3 because it looked so cool.

This! It would make me so happy to have specific dialogue for specific costumes. You could use the outfits Goku and Vegeta wore during their first fight, yet they would interact as if they're in the post-Buu period.

Grinding to level 99 again as a character I've already done that with? Why should I have to do that? I see no reason they COULDN'T be transferable. Hopefully they're only referring to story, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm figuring that the whole point is to grind yourself through hell in order to unlock everything. If you start from the get-go with a 99 lvl character, grinding becomes less effective. And they probably want you to spend time on this game (or force you to pay for quick unlocks).

Well we're already going to need to grind our new characters. The logical thing would simply be that you unlock your Xenoverse 1 character after beating the story. If you really don't that ridiculous. That's all there is to it.
