This is pure speculation. But based on the preview, if Beerus gets the proof he needs to be allowed to kill Zamasu and actually goes through and kills Present Zamasu, that shouldn't have any effect on Future Zamasu right?
The obvious comparison is when Android 17 is killed in the present during the Cell Saga but because of the alternate timelines, Android 17 still exists in the Trunk's future.
So even if Beerus or even Goku kills Present Zamasu, that shouldn't change Future Zamasu or Goku Black in the future in any way?
Also, since Trunks traveled back again, shouldn't the Time Ring that Goku Black is wearing react again, allowing Goku Black to travel back again like he did when Trunks went back to the present the first time? So why don't Goku Black and Future Zamasu use the Time Ring to hunt down Goku, Vegeta and Future Trunks and kill them while they are weak? Why wait?

Mine are speculations, too. But I think that:
1-killing Zamasu now WILL erase future one. But killing someone for a future crime is doing good? Also, Beerus find Zamasu as culprit of Gowasu death, but only AFTER Zamasu asked for immortality, so maybe not even Beerus could harm him now (traveling back further will contradict Whis veto).
2 - Black and Zamasu will NOT go back to stop people harm themselves, 'cause this will never happen (see above).
3 - The pair didn't travel thru time to hunt Goku, Vegeta and Trunks 'cause last time Black risked being defeated, and anyway they're focused on destroy Earth "now" (the future), and proved that the three doesn't represent an actual menace to this plan (for the same reason: why don't go back to kill GOku when a child? No need for)

I think it explains that Black going back via how he did was a one time deal. Besides that hunting them down is kind of pointless as with them out the way they can continue Zamasu's eradication plan without interruption. Hence why Black destroyed Trunks time machine before leaving.
