Yes, in the Buu arc the duo worked well because Vegeta hated it, he just couldn't bare Goku's sight, he even destroys the Potara... And it makes him awesome. But it looks like it's more his general attitude in Super, because in the facts he did go away from Goku to train at Whis's, is Goku that kept coming. Then they made it that them sparring together is good for their training, but when you think of it the real problem appears already in BoG when he is considered pure of heart. So from then on, it makes sense that Vegeta has gone softer, but I am much more annoyed by him being completely submissive in front of Beerus to the point he literally was ordered around like a little dog lolTheMikado wrote:I'm not feeling buddy wingman Vegeta at all as it doesn't feel authentic to his established character.

Trunks becomes super strong? Yes. Cool. I like it. Dunno why some of you are so butthurt already lol.
Also, i am curious how strong fused Zamasu will be.
That also means, November will proly be the conclusion of the arc. Perhaps towards the end of November, tho i wish it would run for a little while longer.

James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

The mafuba doesn't necessarily kill the user, this was only the case for Mutaito and the Turtle Hermit. Kami was able to use it just fine. In fact, the reason he tried it against Piccolo at the 23'rd Budokai was so he wouldn't have to die.Kishido wrote:I will ask it again... if Vegeta ang Goku will fuse... what will happen if they use Mafuba? Will they both be killed?
And if one of both is killed in the future how do they want to revive them?

I must have missed it. Did this ever get answered? Is that image even credible?Khin wrote:Now that you mention it, I checked and didn't see it anywhere in the Fujitv website of Super (Where an image for next episode is usually shown as far as I know), instead an image of Black is the one that's shown.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:Where did that come from? Is it legit?
Although I don't know if there are other sources where you can see images for future episodes, so perhaps someone can clarify whether if this is fake or not ?
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Those images have always been legit, never been wrong so far. You just have to play with the link to look at the pic form the next week's episode.

That's not "kawaii'. That's more gag related, than Vegeta actually being cute.Noah wrote:[spoiler]Lord Beerus wrote:In what sense is Vegeta "kawaii"?

Let's not make this a Vegeta thread, but I will just say that having him both do the Vegeta dance while in the same arc doing the "My Bulma" bit above SSJ3 levels is fairly distasteful .
BS reason to have Vegeta embarrass himself
BS reason to have Vegeta super rage power
Both scenes felt incredibly forced for Vegeta.

After I did read through the upcoming episode titles, I realised what the downfall of Black and Zamasu is. Their merging into one person, was their absolute mistake. If they stayed seperated, then the Mafuba couldn't be pulled off. The greatest thing about this arc is actually the length. 14 Episodes so far and more to come
. I wrote that in certainity but actually I don't know for sure.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Fuji tv seems to have some more details on episode 62. Translations would be appreciated

I'll ask here because it'll lost in the other thread.
Someone explain all these Zamasu's to me.
Now...the Zamasu in this episode, the green one, that's Zamasu from Trunks' timeline yeah?
The Zamasu who used the Super Dragon Balls to become Goku...is that the present Zamasu who Goku fought as a Super Saiyan because they showed a flashback to that. However he was killed and I didn't see anything to explain that.
Is there a third Zamasu?

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
If i got this right the Green Zamasu is "Future Zamasu" to us and Black is a Zamasu from another timeline that used the Super Dragon Balls to wish for the body switch, he then destroyed the Super balls, killed Goku and his family, used the time ring to meet up with Future Zamasu and the rest is history. We'll call Future Zamasu number 2 and Black number 3. Number 1 would be the one Goku fought with as SSJ2, even though Beerus killed him it did not effect number 2 because of the time ring.Bullza wrote:I'll ask here because it'll lost in the other thread.

Zamasu #1 was from our main timeline, he was killed by Beerus.
Zamasu #2 was from the Future, he is now immortal.
Zamasu #3 (a.k.a. Goku Black) comes from a timeline where Trunks never came to the past, but Goku still went to Universe 10 and fought Zamasu (for reasons that will probably never be explained). This is likely a result of the same hidden timeline effect that occurred during the Jinzoningen Arc.

The one thing I'm wondering is if the Super Dragon Balls are destroyed for all timelines or just the one Future Zamasu #3 was in?Jinzoningen MULE wrote:I'll keep it simple:Bullza wrote:I'll ask here because it'll lost in the other thread.
