I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
It's citing the ratings data from October 10-16. Specifically they're citing a shoddy article from October 21st that just says "Super got 6.2% ratings and got 6th place while One Piece got 7th" (ignoring that they actually tied for 6th and Super was most likely placed above One Piece in the list because it airs first).kinisking wrote:http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2 ... se-ratings

Now, now, dont be too hard on them. They are a streaming site. Not a professional journalist site.
Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
Maybe, but doesn't matter. Crunchyroll is an official anime site with big "anime news" section, so they shouldn't post bullshit and not correct.

They are wrong but technically they are right. It's not like this won't happen. Op is literally on it's worse season since the series started. The fact that Zoo is getting these ratings shows how much the fanbase supports everything op related. I won't refer to the animation but instead to the "boring to tears" plot. It's the "in-between" arc that nothing happens. After that the story gets betterShounen wrote:Maybe, but doesn't matter. OP is still in the 6's. #66 has the best chance to over take OP.

Another new low for One Piece. Aren't they supposed to be back to the canon episodes?

One Piece and Super still under performing. But One Piece is the more worrying for me. What's going on? Are viewers just no interested in the current arc of One Piece?

Ζοο is the worse arc ever produced by Oda. Nothing to worry about. Op won't ever stop. Also the next arc is Sanjicentric so the views will go up again.Lord Beerus wrote:One Piece and Super still under performing. But One Piece is the more worrying for me. What's going on? In general Zoo in the manga rating was also low. The arc has nothing interesting happening except from some important dialogue that I doubt 14 year olds care to listen and also they have already read in manga.
As for Super.....Well.....I can't explain it. Quality went up, the story is better.....I am starting to believe that the "streaming theory" is correct.

Super not really underperforming though is it? Underperforming for Super would be dropping out the the top ten and even then it wouldn't be that much of a cause for concern seeing how shows like Pokémon are doing just fine dipping in and out.Lord Beerus wrote:One Piece and Super still under performing. Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
The fact Super is only a single place behind One Piece means it is doing exceptionally well.
One Piece is head and shoulders above any other manga over there, Sazae etc are all family centric shows, so they will likely never budge.
Super has never left the top 10, and that is a huge achievement in itself.

Wow, you guys all say the same thing everytime new ratings come out. Zou is kind of slow in the anime right now but still great and when they get to Totland, it'll get higher ratings. One Piece isn't dwindling, the manga is still selling extremely well.

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
I mean, don't get me wrong, a show like Super being in the Top 10 every week and always being only one place below One Piece, which is monstrously popular in Japan, is one hell of achievement in itself. But considering how really good the current arc, I really was't expecting Super to have this many consecutive episodes where it's not made it above a 6.0 in TV ratings. I am expecting Vegetto's return to pop a big rating, though.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Super not really underperforming though is it? Well a new volume of One Piece came out this week and I think they'll publish the first week manga sales for it today or tomorrow. I'm curious to see what the sales are because I'm sure the last volume had the lowest sales in years.

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
That's lower than I was expecting for Super, I expected at least 6.0. If One Piece's ratings stay the way they have been and the NEP for Super 66 does its job Super very well might do better than One Piece this week.
