Why do people always say stuff like "it's Toei original" as if it is a fact, even though there's not a shred of evidence pointing towards it.? They said the same thing about Vegetto.

People were just being dumb regarding Vegetto (especially due to it referencing SSB eating energy, something that was in Toriyama's script but Toei had ignored in spite of keeping one line about that in the anime), but in this case we're waiting for the announcement of Toriyama's next arc in the 17th or 18th of the next month, and nothing in those pages mentions Toriyama, so it's likely not the arc that's going to be announced.

The actual faces are literally almost exactly the same. Even the dimples and the shapes of them.

The dimples only look that way because while Zamasu and Merged Zamasu aren't talking, Goku Black is in mid sentence in that shot.

[Almost any difference could easily be attributed to either the angle or lighting. This is not a convincing screenshot at all.

It's pretty convincing imo.
Maybe if I only zoom in on certain facial features.

To me the difference is noticeable, but indeed a more complex chara design could have helped to part him. It could look just as an hair model for Zamasu. Even the dress, they could have done something more. See Gotenks dress change.
It's a lazy or plain design. A good one, but lazy.

But they also could wish to make Goten and Trunks taller, or even Bulma probably wish Bra to be born.

I don't get it, how can gods like Beerus or Champa not be good at baseball? Wouldn't them swinging a bat at a ball literally knock it into another universe?

Yamcha in the early Saiyan saga was shown to hit home runs every time he was up to bat. This doesn't make sense.

Would you be able to draw it up for us maybe? I've seen many designer who will be able to do a mark up and do comparison shots so hopefully you can help us see what you're seeing. In all measurable qualities of the actual facial features (mouth nose eyes) it seems to overwhelmingly favor Zamasu.

Unfortunately drawing people isn't something I am particular good at. From what i can tell you, Merged Zamasu has a rounder face compared to Future Zamasu whose face is more narrow.

Toei has a distinct feeling when it comes to dragon Ball like the ssb kaioken, I knew that was a Toei idea the moment I saw it.

What you should be asking what different does it make whose idea it is. If you like an idea, you should like the idea, not care who came up with it. It isn't like all of Toriyama's idea an automatically perfect or better than Toei's just because he came up with it.

Tori retcons things a lot sometimes within chapters. He is an entertaining writer but a forgetful one as well.

The anime didn't ignore Resurrection 'F'. Especially since the anime have base form Copy-Vegeta, who is exactly as strong as Vegeta, no sell Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks attacks. The anime also had Goku fighting Beerus in his base form when he was dressed as Monaka. The anime has constantly shown that Goku and Vegeta' base forms are on another level.
