I hope to see DB characters, and some GT characters as Rild, Rejik...

Yeah, I did read it right. It seems like the character count is over 150; 30 more than last year's game. And no, I don't see a date on the scan, but I'll be sure to look it over again.

EDIT: Nope, it seems like it only says "2007" on the scan, no definite release date yet.

Haha. I just want everyone to remember that Sparking Neo had an enormous amount of characters; and Spike only added around 30 new characters. Sound familiar?

We'll probably get some more GT characters; I can't imagine them including around 35+ new characters without some new GT content. I also imagine we'll see some obscure people that no one could have ever imagined in the game. (Oolong anyone? No? Exactly.)

Well actually I made up a list putting in all of the Dragonball Z movie henchmen along with the henchmen in the series and it came out to be 32 characters. I also added a character that was in Budokai 3 that I assume would have made it in.

King Vegeta
Nail
King Cold
Android 14
Android 15
Neiz
Doore
Amondo
Bido
Bujin
Cashew
Dorodabo
Ginger
Gokua
Kakao
Kishime
Medametcha
Mustard
Nikki
Raisin
Rakasei
Salt
Sansho
Soybean
Vinegar
Pui Pui
Yakkon
Panbukin
Seripa
Toma
Totapo
Kid Uub

It's likely they are going to be put in the game due to the tradition of Sparking games putting in more minor and more minor characters. So I guess GT may be out of the question along with Dragonball.

Looks good but America and Europe will once again get shafted with the music and an incorrect name. We never get the music from the Japanese version! Well hopefully by the time this game comes out the freeloader for the Wii will be out also.

  Oh Corey how you lighten the mood... that made my day.

Seriously though folks while I'm happy it's coming out for the PS2 instead of the PS3 (which I couldn't afford yet if I tried...$599! In Canadian dollars! :x) and I have been a fan of the Budokai-Sparking series, I too am starting to get tired of the same thing over and over. *sigh* God knows I'm a sucker for these games... So what do we have... King Vegeta, King Cold... interesting. Bardock's transformation seems to be given more eye candy with the full moon. Here's hoping all transformations are given some treatment. Let's also hope there are more "what-if's" this time around. That's what really interests me single player wise.

Here's hoping for a Super Dragonball Z also! *crosses fingers* I know we will get it for next gen systems. Still the waiting is killing me!

YES! KYA, YES! Oh man, I love Bandai and their grubby, money making ways! I get a new fighting game this November! So freaking sweet! Finally some Nail action, and it's about bloody time. I'm going to just assume the characters from the Wii version of Sparking! NEO are included. Because if not, well, that would be retarded, wouldn't it?

I can't be the only one hoping for some General Blue this time, eh? Eeeh? Yeah.

Holy Crap. O.o That's pretty amazing! Do I spy Nail and King Vegeta? :D

NeptuneKai: That isn't that bad of a list. I'd definitely love to see a Kid Uub, I don't remember him being playable in Sparking Neo.

EDIT: We'll probably get all of the extra stages and characters included in the JPN and (Europe?) releases, along with all the new content.

I'm guess this game will play almost exactly the same on the Wii as it did last year. Those are definitely PS2 visuals, so I wouldn't expect to see a DBZ game built from the ground up for a while..

EDIT #2: This is getting pretty lengthy quickly. I'm loving Goku's new design, it seems like he doesn't have that weird chin design anymore. Yeah, it's weird that I see those subtle changes, but it actually means a lot to me that Goku has a different design.

A changed name is hardly a reason to be disappointed with a game. They can call it DBZ: Goku's Flying Sausage for all I know, if it's a good game, it's worth a purchase.

As for the soundtrack NOT being the one in the anime, it's all about personal taste. Personally, in my most humble opinion, the battle clips of the anime are way too short and weird to be in a game. Then again, some clips in Tenkaichi 2 were WAY out of place too ...

Cool, I hope they put a lot of effort to DBZSM and actually change things.

Aren't two voice actors dead?( I think its two or one) I guess they'll use old voice clips

Welp, I'm excited for this game.
Honestly. I just hope they put in better cutscenes, more attacks, better specials, all that jazz.

I'm easily entertained. :D

Hey, the season boxsets have the English dialouge with Japanese music track as the default track, we might actually get the Japanese music this time around.

(shrugs) My point still stands. I prefer a different soundtrack. All about taste, as I previosuly said.

I'm fairly sure we're going to get original BGM.If they went ahead and figured out how to get it for the anime I'm sure they will listen to the majority of the fans and give us the original soundtrack for the game. Then again who knows theese people are always full of surprises.
