If you were to make a filler arc for Super, what fanservice characters would add and why?

Piccolo, Gohan & the humans would be the main characters.

Naah, random Saiyans who look like random humans is not interesting in the slightest..
Vegeta has enough character development as it is.. to me it seems character regression anyway, I preferred him as a non tamable big badass Prince..
Now he is a good husband, tame as shit, badassness is out if the window, but this is just my view on him..

I don't know how you can get to that assumption when the Gohan centeric episode of the last arc dropped like an absolute rock from it's last episode.

Also this effectively happened in the Freeza arc and the ratings for those episode's were pretty bad, granted the whole arc was poorly rated but there was a significant rise between the episode that Gohan attempts to call Goku and when Goku and Freeza start fighting. That says it all.

Couple of episodes for these guys might work but a whole arc not so sure.

That's probably because people knew it wouldn't lead to anything which wouldn't be the case with an arc staring him and being heavily marketed.

This. This right here. Krillin and Jaco become part of a buddy cop film(in space) and use Yamcha, 17, 18 and Lunch to help get into the mind of a criminal. If we can somehow shoehorn Chiaouzu in with the suggestions this would pretty much be the perfect arc for me, ultimately harmless and allows for the Earthlings to do something whilst reminding people 17 and Lunch are still alive.

The placement of the rating is also extremely important. For both those episodes, the placement of Super was in it's usual place (7th). Which means the drop in rating was a universal problem across all shows and had nothing to do with what Super was showing.
