He looks shredded and awesome to me.
I'm not sure this warrants its own thread, and much less in the Super section, but I always liked the style of the suit itself. The helmet is silly, and I think I prefer the sunglasses and bandana style more, but it gives Gohan something to fight in that isn't just Piccolo or Goku's clothes. When he fought Dabura and Buu he used the outfit without the cape and headwear, and I think he looks awesome in it.
Probably Kanzenshuu's biggest Bulla fangirl. Current avatar: DBU Bulla as Sailor Princess Sadala, based on Sailor Moon: Cosmic Dance
Dragon Ball Ultimate - 74 out of 150 chapters complete JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Action Blue - link Sailor Moon: Mindful of Love - link | Sailor Moon: Cosmic Dance - link

The idea came form goten saying saiyaman suit is lame in today's super's episode, in universe it's accepted saiyaman suit is lame, figured it's best to make a thread to clear up if fans feel the same when today's episode's memories are fresh.
Ya that suit looks real nice on him
The Lord moves in mysterious ways but you don't have to. Please use your blinker
I like the helmet over the sunglasses but I agree with the above, when he wore the green gi against Dabura he looked awesome, one of the few alternate gi designs that actually looked really cool, colors and all, the green on black was badass
Ditch the cape and stick with the turban. Or he should combine his Golden Fighter alias with his Sayaiman alias but turning super sayain instead of any headgear.

I completely agree. It gets much better without the Cape or helmet. It goes from one of the worst outfits to one of the best.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.
It looks cool in manga/anime form, but seeing it worn by someone IRL makes its lameness more obvious.

Jack is just kinda dumb.

It's believable someone would name a mouse Jack.
It's not at all believable someone would call a mouse Mouse.
Takes you straight out of the experience.
Neither line is good, but Funi's is so much worse [when compared to Blue Water's].
Jinzoningen MULE wrote:Yeah, it's supposed to be lame. That's the entire point. It's a goofy superhero parody outfit.
Couldn't have said it better. It's supposed to look lame as that's part of the charm with the whole Great Saiyaman persona being an affectionate parody of the tokusatsu superhero genre and more specifically Kamen Rider.

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

Its supposed to be a parody, of course it's lame!!
Gohan thinks his Superhero antics are cool but everyone in universe sees it as ridiculous, that's the joke
