Dragonball Z Arcade IMPACT

Post by Anonymous Friend » Mon Jun 04, 2007 7:36 pm

I found the link to this video on another Dragonball forum. It list the games title as Dragonball Z Arcade IMPACT. A lot of the images look like they come from Budokai 3, although there are some surprises at the end.

Also, does anyine now what Data Carddass is?

I've never heard of this! Why does it have Super 17 AND Mighty Mask? And why does it look just like Budokai 3?

Looks very interesting. Could be a new DBZ arcade game for Japan.

Drools..... That looks awesome. Budokai 3 was and still is my favorite of the recent DBZ game releases. I hope to see this come over to the US at some time.

This has beenbrought up before. The game is called Dragon Ball Z Bakuretsu IMPACT. It's another installation of the DBZ Cardas Arcade games using the Budokai engine.

Haha, weird. It's interesting to see Paikuhan in Budokai 3 form (as opposed to Shin Budokai form) and Super Jinzoningen 17 in Budokai 3 form (as opposed to Sparking!). Perhaps these two, and Mighty Mask, were characters Dimps had lying around just incase there was going to be a Budokai 4, and then the project was cancelled, and they decided to use them for this. Hmm.
I was Thanos before the MCU existed!

It may look cool, but as for the gameplay... it's just a (slightly) more sophisticated version of JAN-KEN-PO.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

I've seen this almost everywhere since I came to Japan...along with countless variations with other properties. The control panel literally is just 3 buttons with "Rock", "Paper", and "Scissors" on them.

It reallt is a kick to the nuts to see Super 17, Mighty mask, and Paikuhan's special moves in action, as I look to my Budokai 3, knowing I will never experiance these awesome awesome moves.
Would anybody else buy ANOTHER rerelease of Budokai 3? With these NEW characters?
