The height of Saiyans
Some Saiyans don't mature at all until they hit their growth spurt (Goku, Goten, Trunks) but others seem to have a fairly normal growth process (Gohan, Future Trunks), how does this work?
Also, just how tall are Cabba and Vegeta? Vegeta goes from being a complete shrimp to being taller than Bulma on occasions.

Re: The height of Saiyans
Honestly in my opinion, the best way to properly estimate a saiyans height, is through what we have on earth.

Vegeta

Goku.
But honestly Goku is really tall for a saiyan, and Vegeta is really short

Re: The height of Saiyans
I believe Goten and Trunks are different from Future Trunks and Gohan as they never even show hair growth (they spent 3 weeks inside the RoSaT and didn't change at all)

Re: The height of Saiyans
With the small amount of info available, it's fine to say Saiyan genes are responsible for staying longer in kid phase and maturing really quickly to adult..
Whereas humans undergo rather refined version of growth, they look their ages..
Gohan and future trunks are having the growth patterns of human beings, whereas others have the Saiyan growth gene as the dominant one..
It's essentially the result of mixing of two races of beings

Nappa and Raditz were both taller than Goku. Nothing really points to Goku being really tall for a Saiyan. We've only seen four of them, and he's the second shortest out of the ones that we have seen.Gog wrote:

Exactly, although we do have King Vegeta and Bardock too as well as the saiyans from the filler and minus so yeah I'd say Goku is average at best and Vegeta is definitely tiny for a saiyan. It fits his Napoleon complex character quite well.Kamiccolo9 wrote:Nappa and Raditz were both taller than Goku. Nothing really points to Goku being really tall for a Saiyan. Re: The height of Saiyans
Was any difference in the conception of Trunks and Future Trunks? Perhaps some butterfly effect made by FT arrival and killing of MechaFreezer?
If not, how could you explain the genetic differences btw T and FT?!
