In-universe explanation for miscolored Vegeta

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

In-universe explanation for miscolored Vegeta

Come up with an in-universe explanation for wrongly colored Vegeta's appearence in his anime introduction.

Here's mine: Freeza wouldn't let him leave his domain and go on unauthorized trips so he dyed his hair and changed armor to sneak by surveillance and henchmen who were too dumb to recognize him.

He was already at Super Saiyan God. This is how he was able to reach SSBlue without us seeing the ritual.

Vegeta dyed his hair with the blood of the race he was eating. He also got creative and used the blood to color his armor pads

The atmoshphere and composition of the air on that planet is different, so that the light breaks in a weird way, resulting in the colors being different (for our eyes anyway)

Maybe the viewer of the show is secretly a character and just happened to be on crack when they watched that scene.

Didn't Nappa had yellow armor on Earth? Here however he has it brown.

Vegeta inherited the color of his father's hair.

I always liked that image of Vegeta and Nappa.

Vegeta was said to be especially evil and ruthless even for a saiyan, so I just love that expression on Nappa's face. It says that killing a bunch of bug people is fine, but the fact that Vegeta sat down afterwards and started eating their corpses was a little creepy even for him.

That color scheme sums up Toei Animation when they act of their own volition, haha

How do you know brown isn't his real color and the way he appeared on earth wasn't actually the miscolor!?

Before I even knew what filler was, I always thought Vegeta's hair color being red was for the different lightnings on those planets.

His hair is that colour as it's the blood from all the aliens he killed and he washed it in the display dominance and superiority.

I could legit belive Vegeta doing something like that. It's the sort of vain and prideful that Vegeta would bask in, especially during his evil days.

Nappa put dye in Vegeta's shampoo because he's butthurt about his baldness.

Vegeta's clothes are weird colors because he got dressed in the dark and didn't realize nothing matched right until he got out in the light.

Tory-bot came in and changed his hair and clothes color and effected everyone's memories so they thought he always looked like that. He later does this to his voice in the Namek saga.
