Multiverse fans just want to believe that Dragon Ball Multiverse is better than Dragon Ball Super.

Since it's a matter of opinion, by believing it to be so, it's already true for them.

For someoe who might never be revived back, Piccolo is really calm, and yes Goku, throw injured guy into floor.
I find it hard to believed that Nail survived several days buried and injured. At least the comic lampshade how over-the-top that is.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

I know, I know. But when they shit on the animation, and state that there's no reason for it to be that way. Even going as far as too say that animators were better back in the day is just ignorant bull.

Super and Toei deserve every bit of criticism that they get regarding animation. Most of all other animes that come out every season look better and they are nowhere as big as Dragon Ball. Toei is just cheap and their productions, not just Dragon Ball, consistently reflect that.

Of course, but they at the very least should know how fucked the pre production was, and that even with all of this Toei's animators still manage to bring out good animation, to decent animation consistently.

No offense meant to the guys that work hard on the productions, but I don't consider being below the average (compared to the other animes every season) something positive. Especially for a franchise as big as Dragon Ball and a company that has so many "cash cows" under its belt like Toei. This result is basically inexcusable.

I consider it to be impressive, when you consider how tiny the time frame was for Dragon Ball Super, how small the pre production is for it. So that's what's impressive for me, even though they had a tiny time frame, the animators are complete monsters to be able to put out work like they are doing now, even with the tiny time frame.

You are basically saying that it's impressive how it doesn't suck even harder  . Like I said, I don't consider that to be a positive thing.

 Yeah that's basically what I'm saying, but no I really mean it, the animators should be applauded for managing to churn out this level of quality. And the man who decided to rush the reproduction should be kicked in the balls.

But now were getting off topic.

Honestly, the animation is something I couldn't care less about. It's the story and increased lore that gets me loving the series.

But again I'm getting off topic.

I'm rather surprised they never touched upon the Z-Fighters' reaction to never being able to come back. Or Piccolo's reaction to Gohan dying. Well, neither has Goku's as of yet, but I'm sure we'll see it further down the line.

I'd like to blame that on the limited page count these specials work with, more than anything. But then again, Piccolo's smug comment in the most recent page suggests the comic might not be prioritizing the right tone for the scene.

The art/animation is important. Alan Moore is basically a genius but some of his works have horrible art and makes it a struggle to even get through. If we can't get into the art/animation, it just takes us out of the experience. I would much rather be reading in book form (aka no art/animation) if the art is going to suck.

To be honest, i dont care that pre production was mess, i care about product i've got, same way i don't care No Man Sky will get patch update, right now, it is mess, still, Studio Pierrot is rated much lower than Toei, so, it could be worse :D

Goku is acting unreasonably noble. Can't tell if this is out of character or not, I'd feel it fits Namek Goku and only Namek Goku.

Does anyone else really like this art style? Most notably how Goku is drawn appeals to me.
