So if Goku really is as strong as anime Kid Boo in Base for GT, that should put him somewhere in Super Vegetto's tier of power at least right?
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

Except GT operates on the anime's rules where Kid Boo is the strongest one and apparently Goku can take on Rild of comparable power in his Base alone. Hence why I ask how the two compare to one another.
I don't remember anything that implied Kid Buu as being the strongest but it's been a while since I've seen GT and I watched it dubbed anyway so you'd have to point that out. He'd be the strongest as in he was stronger than Super Buu? Surely not Gohan Buu too?

Even if by some chance it was including Gohan Buu which could make Kid Buu say roughly twice as strong as Ultimate Gohan and then GT Goku was comparable to that then it still shouldn't be nearly enough.

GT Base Goku being two or three times as strong as Ultimate Gohan wouldn't really compare when you could argue that Super Base Goku is maybe over ten times as strong as Enraged SSJ2 Vegeta and he himself could easily be two or three times as strong as Ultimate Gohan already.
I don't think GT gets too specific with power levels and just leaves them in tiers. So if your in the general tier you're comparable and if you're not then you stand no chance. I do find it interested that base Goku in Super is pretty strong and coincides with EoZ and GT.

RehBeh wrote:Just a question: Is Hirudegān stronger than Base Goku/Vegeta from Super? If we go by powerscale he very well might be, considering his fight against Gotenks in comparison with Copy-Vegeta. Copy-Vegeta landed several blows to Gotenks and he was still standing while Hirudegān defused him with one fucking punch. Plus Goku SSJ was on a stalemate with a weaker SSJ Gohan while Hirudegān solo'd his "Ultimate" state... And it took Trunks to cut it's tail(which by the way is implied to be Hirudegān life/energy sucking-source)
and the ridiculously Over-Powered Dragon Fist to took the monster down(Dragon Fist also beat Super 17 while Son Goku was in his Base, San Xing Long and forced Yi Xing Long to regenerate)

Is this shit legit or am I thinking it too much?
Yes and yes. But if you didn't overthink it, it wouldn't be fun.
It depends in part on when in the movie we're talking about, but...Hirudegarn's precise power is tough to pin down, in no small part because (IIRC) its special power of becoming insubstantial whenever someone tries to hit it muddles things. That said, it's probably stronger than Gohan and Gotenks, as are Super's Goku and Vegeta. I wouldn't want to say which one is stronger.
I have constructed a power level list for Dragon Ball Super. Feedback and constructive criticism are appreciated!

Also, even if it lost the life force it absorbed I doubt it would lose so much power that it would go from being far above Gohan and Gotenks to a level low enough for Goku to take some hits.

We should probably just ignore manga power logic when it comes to the movie, it's clearly based on the anime version where SSJ3 Goku ~ Kid Buu > Buuhan.
I think it was actually stated that it store the power there, but i'm not 100% sure since it's been a long time after seeing the movie.

Boohan's the strongest in the manga, but as we've seen from screenshots of the anime, Kid Boo is the strongest there and GT Goku is apparently on par with him in Base.

Boohan's the strongest in the manga, but as we've seen from screenshots of the anime, Kid Boo is the strongest there and GT Goku is apparently on par with him in Base.
Pure Boo being the strongest doesn't make sense even in the anime. The two main reasons i can think is Goku hesitating to fight Evil Boo while confident on fighting the small one(it's even said that a SSJ3 Full Power would have won against Pure Boo) and Boo himself saying when absorbing Gotenks "I'm the strongest Majin to ever exist".

It doesn't make sense but that's what the anime and GT are going with. Hence why we have to take the fact of Kid Boo > Boohan as well, a fact when discussing this. In the manga, it's clear Goku and Vegeta wouldn't survive fighting Super Boo, much less a guy supposedly leagues above Boohan.

The thing is the only evidence to support that is by Goku when he said his in a different league(to tell the truth i don't remeber such statement, i'm going to check). That doesn't necessarily mean power. Also are we sure GT follows the anime logic?

It keeps the anime's version of hell around, I'd say that's a pretty big indicator that we're in anime land.

I don't see why one proven inconsistent line should be considered fact when the manga says otherwise to boot. The same show had a bunch of inconsistent filler lines that people have no problem ignoring so I don't see why this should be any different. Maybe different league could even be referring to something else.

Yamcha made a fool of Olibu who was a match for Pikkon who made a fool of Cell which would mean that Yamcha was way stronger than Cell but he wasn't.

If the same line was said in Kai which Super is a continuation of then that's even more contradictory.

Good point. It goes to show that some fighters will be not even be super strong let alone God-tier.

Imagine if Zeno doesn't deem their fight entertaining and just vaporizes both fighters. LOL that would be incredibly dark.

That would be very interesting, and buu just regenerates from his vaporised smoke body

From what I've seen Rou Kaioshin calls him the most difficult Buu and the title of the episode where Goku beats him says Goku is the strongest.

But Herms did a do a video with Geekdom clarifying all that where he mentioned how Kid Buu was supposed to just be the most troublesome or dangerous, possibly referring to Kid Buu having a reckless personality who just blows planets up without hesitation.

Any chance that Gowasu may be comparing SSJ2 Goku with Universe 10's God of Destruction?

Holy shit!! If this is the case it could potentially solve the problem!! Maybe he WAS, in fact, referring to the pink elephant GoD, who is not that strong at all?! What if this GoD is only around 2x SS Vegito Buu Saga?! That could make sense as to where Goku would be at. Then Beerus corrects him, and Gowasu remembers how much stronger Beerus is than the pink elephant GoD.

I had a thought last night ... the last time we see Goku using his strong Base is against Monaka-Beerus in Ep. 42. He then undergoes Delayed Onset Energy Disorder in Ep. 43. We see Goku fight Copy-Vegeta in his Base form in Ep. 46.

What if during the Delayed Onset Energy Disorder, Goku lost the additional padding of his SSGod power that he absorbed and he can now only rely on the training from Whis with Vegeta?! What if this was the silent retcon?!?

Goku and Vegeta's base forms were considered equals with Vegeta possibly being stronger in the beginning of the Resurrection 'F' Saga. If Goku any power, Copy-Vegeta should have wrecked him. Plus, Goku said he was back to normal in Episode 45. No power drop mentioned.

Also, why would a God of Destruction be so massively weak compared to Beerus and Champa? Especially to the point that Zamasu could possible fight him.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

Didn't Beerus respond "You said his power rivals mine?" with Gowasu responding "S-sorry". From that it seems obvious that he was comparing Goku and Beerus.
