I've noticed a trend of referring to this as pure fanservice, etc., and I suppose in another sequel I might agree. But, despite my overall lukewarm (at the very best) feelings on Super's execution, what has me excited for this is that it isn't Dragon Room et al. choosing to bring back Freeza for a celebrity cameo; it's Toriyama outlining a plot that involves him teaming up with the heroes (as payoff for the last Freeza story line).

That's something else entirely, and it promises to be highly amusing.

Freeza is a businessman, I'm sure there is something he wants that they can give him.

At this point we're all just speculating, but a "Get out of Hell free" card wouldn't be enough?

No but what if he is allowed access to another universe one with more fruitful planets to conquer and sell

Frieza better be the first person out from team Universe 7. This is a disgrace to the main cast.

I hope you're not implying that Boo is a part of the main cast because he most definitely isn't. He has never been relevant outside the Boo saga and even then, fat boo became almost completely irrelevant once he was absorbed.

It would be a disgrace to the rest of the team apart from 17 if they go out early but Frieza lasts a long time as they are apart of the main cast.

Because Dragon Ball Supers Logic implies anything can happen. If Roshi, Tien, Krillin and Yamcha teamed up on Beerus. There's a good chance they'll win.

But yeah, Buu should just absorb Beerus and end everything because there's only so much a Dragon Ball fan can take before the fanfiction shit overwhelms everything that made Dragon Ball special.

Super a cashgrab, you mean like the entire Dragon Ball franchise? Are fans just forgetting that Toriyama stated that he created Dragon Ball for the money and it's basically a fantasy story with everything thrown against the wall. I mean, a fan-favorite arc involved time-travel, boy from the future who is the son of two characters who barely talked to each before that point who owned the villain from the previous arc effortlessly, androids, an android from the future, and Gohan suddenly becoming important. The Android/Cell Saga has more fanfics stuff that this arc.

Said all I need to on Freeza on Saturday, the Buu thing sucks but expected Toriyama only see's him as a gag character it seems. The thing I am clinging on to is the fact that the episode summary doesn't confirm Freeza actually comes back just that Goku wants him too. Fingers crossed, hopefully we can get some other episodes titles from other magazines and not wait another month for NewType I am sure #94 title will confirm if Freeza is or not.

The stamina issue only kicks in if he drags the fights, characters such as Piccolo,Gohan,Roshi,Krillin,18 are mere fodder to him that he can take out at a touch like how he dealt with Gohan, 1 punch and dead. Worst than last time probably, but still more than enough to take out more than half the roster. That depends, we only see Goku using SSJ2 and is probably going SSJ3 in the prev, until we see the ep itself we wont know where Gohan stands and gauging him from Goku isnt exactly the way to go, unless you think Krillin is equal to God Goku since he was able to push his wave back? Goku's mary dicking everyone around making them think they're special and hyping them up from the looks of it, he even comments that fighting Roshi sends chills in his fists.... I dont even want to understand what he meant by that.

I dont see that as a bad thing, Frieza came out of the blue, it aint odd to say he's one of their top guns if not their top 2 fighter depending on how Vegeta will handle his training.

Y'know, now that Freeza's been confirmed there really is no reason we couldn't get Goten and Trunks over Roshi and Tenshinhan, given Gokus reasoning for excluding them in the first place I doubt the boys would be any harder to work with than the guy who murdered his best friend before his eyes and committed mass, planetary genocide.

The character interactions will definitely be interesting as Krillin and Piccolo sure as hell aren't gonna like this decision.
