Unconfirmed but apparently wishing for TP medals now give you 200 TP. If true then I may have to take back any complaints about the TP shop other then it being time specific.

And now my XBONE is saying the XV2 servers are down. Anyone else have this?

You're asking for them to start over from scratch by making entirely new models, stages, animations, moves, and dialogue when they have assets from the previous game right in front of them to improve and expand upon.

Which is what pretty much what the vast majority of sequels do. Again Injustice 2 did not just copy and paste over all the music, character models, dialogue and stages from the last game.

Now of course I don't expect that from Dragon Ball games because they're cheaply made. So I accept them reusing character models and stages if there's a good trade off. If they're just copying and pasting the same content then of course I'd expect plenty of new stuff added.

That did not happen either. The game has 18 new characters but that includes 4 which are palette swaps like Meta Cooler. Infact there's only 1, a measly 1 character that's actually new which is Hit.

When it comes to the stages there's 4? That are new, a paltry 4 of the 28 stages are actually new to this game. That means 85% of the total stages are from the last game.

I could at a severe push even excuse that. What can not be excused in anyway is them recycling the same levels and cutscenes, that is just pathetic. It's the exact same story again and like I said out of 5 missions I've done, 4 of them are just from the last game.

You can't defend that, you're paying for mostly the same content you played as just a year and a half beforehand.

Of course all the good stuff with the actual new characters and new stages are part of over priced DLC. I'm not paying £25 for 8 characters and 2 stages when a year from now they'll come out with Xenoverse 3 that's just gonna include them all for free.

They should have included those characters, story missions and the from the beginning.

Well then they never should have made the game to begin with if it's got so little that's actually new in it.

THe aim of a sequel is not to make an entirely different game, it is to build upon the foundation laid by the first game and improve.

Which this game does not do because it has the same mediocre critic reviews and slightly inferior user scores.

Of course the aim is to be different, nobody wants to pay money for the same thing again. Games might have similar gameplay but they have entirely different storylines and settings and missions.

Injustice 2 is a proper sequel as was Mortal Kombat X, Street Fighter V, Tekken 7 and this new Marvel Vs Capcom. Xenoverse 2 is not a sequel, it is to Xenoverse 1 what Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo was to Street Fighter 2, it's the same game just updated.

That people so gladly defend and accept this is why we will never get a good Dragon Ball game.

No complaints about this free DLC except the tail. I have to get used to Future Trunks' Sword of Hope mechanics, but even so, I managed to play with it decently. Liked the variations the characters got. The prices of the items from the TP Shop are also okay.

For some reason, the blue thing on Yardrat's pants is missing when wearing Mira's armor, that didn't happen before. And there is a bug with the third variation of Future Trunks, his icon in the corner of the screen shows him with his blue jacket, but when he transforms, he appears wearing the green pullover.

I agree that XenoVerse 2 is more like a polished version of its predecessor but complaining for character models and animations.. ? Moreover, using titles such as Tekken 7 or Injustice 2 as an argument? Come on! Tons of sequels are reusing assets, it brings the development costs down.

Also, I'm laughing at MvC: I as a proper sequel.

I can confirm Shenlong now gives 200 TP medals. Meaning grinding Dragon Balls is now the best way for TP. And considering you can't wish for the same thing twice, combine this with the wish for 3 levels and you can easily grow your levels and get TP at the same time.

They're already there. Goku has 2 variants, Vegeta has one and Trunks (Super) has 2.
Also data-mines confirm Ikari and Corupted Zamasu are in the game. Dunno about Ikari yet but Zamasu is fully programed for battle.

That was part of the free update, those movesets/outfits are in the game now.

This Shenlong wish is a god send. I can finally get all the DLC content I paid for easily.
I love Sword of Hope, it's a very creative ultimate attack, though this means I now need to make my Melee character have max Ki. Super Black Kamehameha seems way too easy to escape from.

Just played a little bit with the free update. Well the new Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta is now my favorite character in the game! He looks really cool with the cell saga gi and i love the 2 new moves he got! Cant wait for the DLC 4 tomorrow!

Grotesque Merged Zamas is indeed in the game, it has his own model, moves, and boss' animations. Apparently he appears only in the story mode.

Ah, so it's a Demigra situation all over again... I hope he at least has moves that justify him not being playable.

So SSR Trunks and that version of Zamasu are in the game, but not playable? Mess.
Modders will probably make them playable though

They are legit, but from what I hear both Rage Trunks and Grotesque Zamasu are story exclusive. Still waiting for confirmation of that, though. There is a guy streaming the story right now on YT, so if you don't mind spoilers someone should look it up and pay attention if characters/variations get unlocked after completing missions.
