Which surprises me cause we have Broly AND Gogeta coming back yet no one is talking about it.

Probably because people thought they dont know where to talk about it (specifically which thread) I saw that earlier on twitter but didnt know where to post the image.

This absolutely and unequivocally has nothing to do with Dragon Ball Super, says it right there Dragon Ball Z least of all its just a mere attraction / ride that none of us outside of Japan will experience.

In order for them to go blue wouldn't the events of Super have to have happened? The Z marketing in this case makes absolutely no sense if the majority of Japan sees Dragonball as just "Dragon Ball" and not a separate "Z" entity. If you're going to have SSB why not use the "Super" identifier instead?

I wonder if U10 will end up winning the Tournament. Everyone assumes that U6 or U7 will win, but I think they will surprise us with a Universe that no one think will win. Gowasu will probably end up wishing back U7 since he probably still respects Goku for helping him get rid of Zamasu if U10 does win.

If they're planning for a surprise winner that can make sense with saving everyone then U2 is the way to go, the leader seems to be Bri and 3 of them appears to be magical girls, dont magical girls stand for love and peace? if Bri ends up being the MVP and gets a wish she can just wish for the supposed universal destruction become universal love.

It's a pure gimmick nothing more nothing less, don't forget SSGSS was introduced in Z moniker. This attraction is here to make money I don't think it needs this much attention.

Teqnically speaking, ROF, where SSB was introduced, was part of Z. And I suppose Z is still better marketing wise. It would not surprise me at all honestly.

(Still waiting for a Super movie either based on the manga or 100% from Toriyama himself btw.)

JC! Finally something great comes out of the Yamcha sub plot. Vegeta is my favorite character and Yamcha is cool too but let's be honest. Vegeta doesn't deserve Bulma.

The VERY first response was from a moderator.

As a moderator and trusted source on this site, this was about as authoritative of an answer as you can get here. The remainder of the responses didn't get much better.

To be completely fair, these responses were both from before I was made a moderator and before Toriyama basically stopped maintaining control over the main arc content. Circumstances changed, on both fronts. Toei are taking large liberties with the story, Toyotaro is also contributing designs, etc. It's no long surprising that content is branching out to include stuff Toriyama likely wouldn't have.

Lol it's the perfect chance for Yamcha to get some alone time with Bulma hahaha. Vegeta isn't around to bully him.
