You know....with all this arguing over Cauli asking Goku about SSB, will she get it and whats up with her forms....

None seems to have realized that we are finally going to learn just how Goku and Vegeta gained Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, something I'm very happy about.

That was kind of one of the most fun parts about the 42 volume. Tori left a lot of stuff a mystery.

I've always wished he did more with certain things but at the same time it's fun to try and guess how things were. Something like Tien's 3 eyes could've been explained in one line but thanks to that not happening the theories of why he has them are endless.

That was kind of one of the most fun parts about the 42 volume. Tori left a lot of stuff a mystery.

I think the issue I have is that while I dont need backstory for everything....I do like it for some things at least. Toriyama has a habit of using little to none in everything.

Obviously I still enjoy the series but its taken a loooong time just to get all the DB lore we do have.

Toei didn't have Goku start using SSBKK regularly till this arc, while Toyotaro is still in the Black arc; if you were to actually compare the two arcs directly then Goku is going to walk away from it much stronger in Toyotaro's version. Meanwhile people believe Vegeta is stronger in SSB than Goku to this day because of how Toei handled it.

In the Manga, Goku hasn't done anything that Vegeta can't learn later on. Kaioken on the other hand...

Is so much a Goku signature that other z warriors like tien was never taught it by king kai.

Maybe the anime could introduce perfected ssb for vegeta but again , Toriyama and Toei are probably going to push Gohan again. Failed the last time he tried it, but of course they'd rather repeat with Gohan than give vegeta a proper win.

Dude gohan done after this arc and so far he did nothing but job ever since he appeared and it's the same as always the moment this arc is over he's going back to fodder they always do that seriously and vegeta the second most popular character even in the buu saga kid trunks was rated 3 while gohan was like 5

Gohan was sidelined before because his character arc was done all the way back in the Cell Saga. Now he just repeats himself. He studies, he slacks off, he gets cheap "awakened potential, has to fight against his doubts, then ultimately becomes billy badass or wins outright. How many times do we have to see the same old shit? I don't want to see this geek stuck in an endless cycle of his own doubt and laziness. For some bizarre reason there are people actually wanting him to win this tournament which is so baffling words fail me.

Looks like in the fourth picture the character I wont name looks like hes struggling with constipation or trying to quit something cold turkey

It's things like the mechanics of certain things that are harder to swallow. Having to guess about the important pieces which drive the story forward isn't very fun unless it's specifically designed to be a mystery.

This is were I stand, I do not need to know the backstory for every character, it is sometimes better left unsaid. You can always come up with your own fan-idea based on who they are now or if you lack a creative imagination go search fanfics for one you like.

But SSB is a transformation that been a fundamental part of Super for a very long time and leaving its initial inception blank dose not feel right. This is not so bad in Goku's case, as there is a good set up.....but Vegeta has stuck out like a sour thumb ever since he transformed. How dose a saiyan who has never tasted divine ki unlock the form? Thats all I ask. I dont need a big explanation and some stuff like SSG and Black supernatural powers dose not need to be explained to death, but I want to know how a saiyan obtains the power of the SSB without SSG or soul swapping with kaioshin.
