The tournament so far has been pretty heavily skewed in favor of 6 and 7 with the other universes not providing a whole lot in the way of challenge. Either Jiren is going to be something spectacular or something else will go down, I think. It all seems too easy.

It looks like Kale's "Ultra Super Power" is pretty draining, so I'm guessing she'll use it sparingly and use her "regular" Super Saiyan more.

Well, we knew not every universe would be important.

I'm still shocked they gave everyone different designs and names.

I swear to God, if U3 gets eliminated before we get some interaction between their characters and 17 and 18...

Didn't watched the episode yet so I don't know the context behind Goku in this shot, but man how I would like him to take this god damn survival Tournament more seriously.

More and more irrefutable evidence keeps pilling up that shows Super is an overwhelming success.

Not surprised by the domestic figures, Super seems like it is plastered all over Japan!
A commercial success is worlds apart from a worthy successor to the series. The market was always there. Just because they are pimping out merchandise and shoving garbage down our throats faster than they can animate it doesn't mean it's an "overwhelming success" and those critical of the direction the franchise went in should just shut up. There are numerous examples of this kind of exploitation amongst pop culture in general but it's hard to argue with someone who reasons away the total mediocrity of the show with Youtube likes.
I wouldn't say exactly with these words, but I agree with some of your points. These graphs only proves that Toei don't need to work hard to make money with a new DB series. Just give the basic: a new story, characters and transformations to sell the merchandise. To the hell with plot coherence or anything else "needless" for a "successful" series.

Man, I really hope they don't go into the route of Freeza becoming a "good guy" along with the main cast. That would so ruin his character and his arc, that I couldn't even imagine, but this pic is probably just a isolated thing.

Too many characters have been taken out by just Universe 6 and 7.

Out of 29 eliminations, 28 of them of them have been from Universe 6 and 7.

When this Tournament started I liked the fact that Basil was the first to take someone out because I thought it would be better balanced that it has been.

I just wanna see someone from Universe 4 take out someone from Universe 2 or someone from Universe 10 take out someone from Universe 3.

Some Pride Troopers techniques are cool, but I was disappointed with them.

They should really be a powerful team and they give work to others, but it seems like only Toppo and Jiren are strong.
I do not expect much from Dyspo either.

The danger level of this Universe is one of the greatest. And this is not only due to Jiren, otherwise the U7 would be one of the first because of Goku, Vegeta, Freeza, Gohan and others

Could be better explore

Sorry, but only characters established before the tournament started have a chance to eliminate someone. Everyone else is just a nameless fodder who will get jobbed by someone from U6 or U7 (Ribrianne, Toppo, and Jiren will just stand around and do nothing or get 2 seconds of screentime until Toei wants them to fight someone from U6 or U7)

It makes sense for the Sixth and Seventh Universes to take the forefront in this tournament. One is the universe of the main character and the other is the twin universe, which has not only five of their previous rivals on board, but two new Saiyans with a lot of excitement behind them.

Completely ridiculous how Toppo knows that he's a match for Goku at his best, yet instead of opting to team-up with Jiren to take down the most dangerous fighter in the tournament, he runs away, to "conserve energy." Why the fuck does that matter? You're gonna have to deal with him eventually, why not do it now when you're both at full strength?

It just shows the complete lack of focus when they keep setting up match-ups only to completely disregard them in the very next episode. Sometimes in the very next scene. Basil vs Napapa, Lavenda vs Gohan's group, Freeza vs Napapa, Vegeta vs Botamo and Magetta, Vegeta vs Cabba, 18 vs the female Pride Trooper back in the first episode (they didn't even acknowledge they had fought before in this episode, did they?).

I liked the episode...my only question is will anyone else from U7 even be eliminated? Everyone else is being made into fodder and dropping like flies. Who is going to take our guys out?

It didn't have to be that way though.

Narirama and Nigirissi were shown beforehand and they didn't do squat. Muchirim had a scene and he was supposed to be the leader and he didn't do squat. Of the three established characters from Universe 9 only Basil knocked someone off.

None of the four established Pride Troopers have knocked anyone off yet.

Really, for a supposed Battle Royals between 8 Universes so far it's practically just been Universe 6 and 7 vs Everyone else.

This is like a U7 and U6 tournament. Yea, Jiren will come into play, but so far it has been a pretty bad battle royal. If 30 out of 80 figthers were eliminated by 2 universes, you know something is not right. It looks like everyone else is just standing still, until U6 or U7 comes and knocks them off. They should have made a 1vs1 tournament, cause to me this doesn't look good and it was pretty meh so far.... Also, how many more guys are gonna grab Goku from behind.

I'm pretty sure Toppo doesn't know he is a match for Goku, he said he didn't know he could beat him.

Thats why he told Goku about Jiren.

Not everyone is like Goku who doesn't really care about winning and just wants to fight fairly. Toppo and Jiren want to make Goku tired so they have more chances to win and protect their universe.

I'm just a little surprised a few more U7 fighters havent been eliminated yet. I'm wondering if something ridiculous won't happen....like most of U7 is left against just Jiren but he eliminates everyone but Goku in the blink of an eye. Then they square off.

Does FUNi plan on releasing DB Super in season sets or will they just stay as part sets?

Yes, and it will be Piccolo for the looks of it(he had no pupils in the preview).
