How Universe 10 could have won

Post by Polyphase Avatron » Sun Aug 13, 2017 8:15 am

This will be more difficult than the Universe 9 plan, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

Step 1: Napapa and Murichim find a good, defensible position (maybe near the central column) and focus on standing their ground and repelling attackers. If anyone overly strong approaches, retreat and try to hold a position elsewhere.

Step 2: The weaker warriors who can't fly (Methiop, Murisam, Jirasen, and Jilcol) will work as a team, going for surprise attacks using teamwork to knock opponents out of the ring. They will steer clear of any particularly strong fighters and be prepared to scatter in a moment if a large attack comes their way. Also, absolutely no toying with their opponents - knock them out as quickly as possible. Methiop could have defeated Kale before she transformed if he held to this.

Step 3: Lilibeu and Jium will work in tandem and provide aerial support to all of the different factions of the team. If they are targeted by someone they can't handle, they will retreat to get cover from Napapa and Murichim or Obuni and Rubalt

Step 4: Obuni and Rubalt will work together, the former using his feints (but not excessively so as not to burn up his stamina) for surprise attacks to knock enemies out of the arena, taking advantage of when they are distracted by fighting others. They will not get into any long protracted fights if they can help it.

Step 5: Once most of the contestants have been eliminated, the 4 factions will join together and concentrate their attacks on strong enemies, aiming to knock them out of the ring.

Considering that their team captain's name ment "hopeless team", they were predestined to lose no matter what they did.

But they would at least have done a lot better using this strategy.

Oh it would have but this is the macho, meat head universe we are talking about. If they had more then a cabbage between their ears they could have done better but it would seem that most of the U10 fighters have something less then a cabbage between their ears.

Alternatively; Lillibeu and Jium just fly and stay above the tournament stage for the full tournament length, thus guaranteeing two fighters will remain regardless of what chaos happens down below. Maybe carry a third fighter between them.

I barely remember what the U10 can do attack wise outside Obuni, Napapa and Jium. Can't even recall what Murichim can do...;;

Gowasu should have used his time ring to invite Goku Black, and simply watched him wreck everyone.
"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much that I can't leave it alone." - Akira Toriyama on Dragon Ball Super

With this team:

Replace Gowasu with Murichim.
It's a shame Future Zeno erased everything.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Having U10 be a ally to U7 would be nice since Goku knows that Gowasu is a nice guy. If U10 did somehow won, they would probably have wish back U7 because Gowasu respects Goku for defeating Zamasu.

I'm not a fan fiction writer, but you just made me want to see a situation where Goku Black and Goku have to have a showdown at the end of the T.o.P

Honestly that's the only way it would have went down. Jiren would have been defeated and it would have been Goku vs Goku Black :lol

The final step wouldn't have worked. Goku and Vegeta are a dead end for universe 10.

Rather Obuni over Murichim
Big fan of the characters of Dragon Ball, all of them, especially formerly prominent sub-characters. -__-
