We can say for sure now that it will be two episode at once on Oct 8th. Since, One piece website lists their special as being two episode aired at once.

Assuming Super is the same way it's better off this way, they don't have to do as much animation since they will presumably air the opening and ending twice during that hour and it will make it easier to air these outside of Japan.

He meant that was the best cut in Super without considering the ones involving Higashide and Shida.

The are loads of cuts on the Booru by animators other than Shida and Highashide that are better than Karasawa's little stint here. Thats not to say Karasawa's cut isn't good, it most definitely is, but I feel like it doesn't come up to scratch with say, Tate's better cuts on the Booru.

The One Piece website is making a big deal out of the special's staff. Ootsuka Takashi will direct and Koizumi Noboru will be involved, too. Other talents are said to be involved, too. Hopefully Dragon Ball will get similar attention.

I have a feeling there will be similar talents on the special too. Yuya Takahashi and Naotshi Shida are said to be working on Super. Otsuka Ken will probably join the staff as well. I hope Nagamine will lead the staff with his direction and storyboard. We have some pretty good key animators that have been developed pretty nicely that could join the project.

I just hope Yamamuro doesn't go overboard with his corrections.

I kinda hope they don't blow their load by getting every great talent they can on the special, if only because I want the following climax episodes to also look good. For instance I'd prefer if Otsuka showed up on 111 or something.

What's interesting is that we have only seen Nagamine co direct one episode (#95) so far. I think we also haven't seen Ryoto Nakamura since #75. If we get a couple of episodes handled by them each, then it would be great.
