You know, in the midst of all this special talk, I've noticed that Jiren only has 3 lines of dialogue total. I think they were "Get lost," "I got this," and "It's over." We know nothing about this guy. It's hard to get hyped about a potential match up when we know nothing about one of the characters. When Toppo was introduced, you could tell what type of personality he had right away. Jiren just seems "super duper strong and quiet." I'm still anticipating the special because I heard that the staff is going to be really great, but for now I don't really care about Jiren at all.

Dude absolutely sucks in charisma, can't cut a promo to save his life and the main charcter is trying to fight with him while he feels it is "beneath" him.

Jiren comes off more like Brock Lesnar to me.

That's what I was thinking, too. Jiren is so like Brock Lesnar in the fact that Jiren is a freak of nature and is built up a mysterious entity with an undetermined amount of raw strength, that even if you haven't seen him in action, you should fear nonetheless.

A really ornate palace they seem to be in. I have to say I enjoy the darkly lunar atmosphere of the whole scene. Why could Frost be prostrating himself before Champa? It may have something to do with the reputational humiliation Champa feels he suffered by unwittingly permitting a deceitful cheat to fight for him at the previous tournament event. Frost is probably making an earnest plea not to be erased by Champa for what happened during that tournament. Well, either that or it's Frost consulting the Hakaishin on his future enlistment as a member of Team Universe 6 for the Tournament of Power.

Definitely Brock, from the Stomach issues, to only being compelling when they got a mouth piece/mastermind next to them (Cause when they speak it's a fucking disaster), to using the same tired ass moves.

Don't worry about, there are people in the forum that shows more enjoyment in seeing other people upset with bad power scalling than with the series itself.

I just wish people would give negative criticisms whole-sale, without all the added fluff.

I understand why fans complain about it (god knows I wouldn't have gotten my post count this high if I haven't ) but they really need to stop saying if this happens then they'll drop it.
